de Ligt looks like every other posh young wanker from the Netherlands, Slab God's head is fecking legendary. No contest there. In actual footballing terms, current de Ligt joining us would have been the absolute worst move for both parties. A reforming United side and defence, combined with a young starlet centre back with huge pressure in a ridiculously fast paced league where all of your mistakes and flaws are magnified to the nth degree. The main talking point would have been his transfer fee + wages, 'cos there's no way he would have come here and revolutionised the backline as he would have been expected to do.
Yeah, Im no huge advocate of De Ligt. Last season Ajax was an anomaly. Dusan fecking Tadic looked like Messi, as did guys like Vd Beek. Now theyre back to their mortal selves.

I think De Ligt will eventually be betterhan Maguire, but for United? You dont rebuild a defense by buying a 19 year old.

Regarding looks, I love Maguire, he has swag. That photo of him looking athis girlfriend in the stands up close is awesoms.

People don’t understand. De ligt very likely to have a weight problem as he’s 19 and hasn’t stopped growing. A little like shaw. You gotta look at the parents and these types of players struggle with fitness all their lives.

Wait, people are now actively happy that we've signed Maguire instead of De Light?
Now?! I said in the summer I'd take Maguire over him.

De Ligt may end up better, but we were in need of a CB who's ready to go now, and Maguire is better at the moment.

Cheeky little bid?
Juve will have to sell someone if they don't qualify. CR7's wages are a real issue for them. I expect one of the following to have to go:

Dybala
CR7
De Ligt

To be honest, MDL is unlikely to be sold. It is much more likely they sell both Dybala and CR7 (if CR7 accepts the move, which isn't certain as he isn't getting those wages elsewhere.)

He’s been a disappointment this season tbf. With all the hype last summer, the salary and fee and don’t forget the potential. You’d expect him to bossing it in Juve and Serie A (not the most competetive league this year).

But he’s still young and the whole Juve team haven’t clicked at all this season. I’ve seen around 10-15 Juve games this season and they’ve been poor in almost all of them. Some scrappy wins here and there against the likes of Genoa, Spezia etc.

De Ligt were highest on my to-buy list and I went full muppet when the talks to United starten. But now Im not so sure. Think we dodged a bullet there. Obviously massive potential, but don’t Think he compliment Maguire at all. Too slow partnership.

Come on Donny, sell the United experience to your boy
Not sure talking about the quality of furnishings in the dug out swings a deal our way.

See he is getting linked again with major clubs now. Funny, not seen many mention him as a possible target for us this summer. I cant believe he is still only 21 though.

Hahahaaa... Fcuk Juve, can't stand the club these days. Ever since they got Pogba they've thought of themselves as big shots in European football when in actual fact they're in the SPL and been found out now.. Haha De Ligt is laughing all the way to the bank baby with Ramsey, Ronaldo, Scezeney and whomever else is costing them loads of money. Hate them so much that I hope they get relegated again soon.

They need to keep him and pair him with Montero for next season. Those other guys belong in the history pages.

He was awful today.
Personally I'd stay away, is not a leader and does not command at the back.

Always thought Italy was a bit of a strange choice for him and that he should've picked England or Germany. Problem he has is that he isn't cute enough for Italian football, so gets to be made clumsy as he cannot play to his strengths which is go full blood and thunder as he will just pick up bookings for fun.

However, not sure if there will actually be any options for him in the Summer. Real and Barca are broke, Utd cannot pair him with McGuire as they'll be too slow together, City do not need another CB and Bayern have just brought Upamecano. Only team I could possibly see him going to is Chelsea, but even then they would need to sell a couple of players to accommodate him.

I havent seen much of him since his Ajax days..If there was an opportunity

I'd still like to see him at United.

He's a good centre-back with huge potential and has good leadership qualities.

He's an anti-vaxxer, pass it on.
You're an anti vaxxer if you don't take a vaccine which hasn’t passed phase 3 trials yet, is being used under emergency use and that no one knows the medium or long term safety profile of?

https://www.healthline.com/health/is-the-coronavirus-vaccine-safe#long-term-effects

What if you're quite happy to take all the tried and tested vaccines that have decades of established safety data, just not the experimental ones. If you're 21 like De Ligt, ?

I share the same sentiments. I am all go for the proper vaccines and I believe in them. But the coronavirus vaccines are a no go for me.
