Im a sound engineer so i instantly picked up on it, but its his mouth noise and spit too, fecking gross old man sounds, right in your ears. I have to find a different stream when im watching a game he's commentating on.

Win tomorrow and second place is guaranteed. Last two games can then be experimental for us. You’d expect to see the likes of Axel and Amad getting games there, and perhaps a couple if debuts. Maybe even a debut for someone like Hansen off the bench - United love a good ‘testimony of our academy/youngest ever debutant’ opportunity!

I think Partey has mostly been solid for them. Their second best player this season behind Saka probably.
mmm not really. Xhaka, Tierney, Gabriel and I'd say even Luiz have been better than him. Partey basically had 3-4 good games at the start and nothing really since then. This from outside looking in, but Arsenal fans might have different opinions.

He’s got some pace. I don’t think he excels at pretty much anything else.
He was even benched at Dortmund.

Chelsea overpaid badly for a good number of players recently. He costed 60 millions, Havertz 80, Werner 50. That is really crazy considering You don’t even know where Havertz is supposed to play, as he is not a striker, that Werner is woeful in front of goal. And I don’t rate Ziyech as well, he is invisible most of the time and given his age it won’t get better.

A lot of people were begging for us to bye him, even if he was on the bench at Atletico and that no one was interested. Just show how much the caf knows… It was daylight robbery from Atletico :lol::lol:

I didn't watch the game but I did not understand the goal: why was Kepa so far from his goals?

thats technically the right thing to do for a right-footed keeper. Opening up to take the back pass and also prevent any miss control leading the ball to just roll into the goal.

Agreed, even as a kid they coach you to always aim a backpass away from goal.
Yeah we were taught if you're doing a backpass never pass it in between the posts just in case the keeper fecks up or you hit it too hard and it goes in.

The goal tonight was in no way the keepers fault.

Agree. They’re approaching Woodward-Era United levels of wasted money.

Arsenal has entered the next phase of its existence ie being game raising twats. Watch them drop points against relegation fodder now.

Has anything good ever come from them since the wenger days ?

Nope. The 5 points we dropped against them could have made all the difference to our title chances this season. I say this because they are probably the weakest of all the 'big 6' teams we have played this season and yet we dropped the most points against them. Their win at Old Trafford was one of the biggest park the bus performances I've seen and it came after they had lost something like 6 of their last 8 games and hadn't won in months. Immediately afterward they went back to not winning games again.

Question for the United fans here. I've seen your 'leaked' line up and it has Rashford on the right. Wouldn't you much rather see him on the left where he can get at TAA? Alexander-Arnold always struggles against him or Martial on that side when we play you.

I've always wondered what operation Anfield Exercise was, and it turns out it was to send out a decoy bus to distract protesting United fans.

Pogba is a different beast on left with his physicality and technique. With Cavani in the box, it would be a tougher challenge for TAA (yes, more than Rashford)

Ofcourse Rashford is going to switch as well.

Any time I've watched Rashford play, I've thought that he looks like a different player on the right, no where near as effective. He's great on the left imo. Pogba to me isn't a natural wide player either and can't play his game as well from there.

Little bit confused about why United fans would show up to protest the Glazers and instead sing about poverty in Liverpool. Seems a bit counter-productive to me.

Think we're going to get beaten with that CB pairing, especially if we play a high line.

This Villa Everton game is a tough watch knowing a fantasy footy rival has defenders in both teams.
Inevitable 0-0!

I hate Grealish' languid attitude. Feet up snood on, hardly watching the game. Gets asked to warm up, and looked annoyed at the disposition.

coupled with his off the pitch antics you do wonder if he'd cope at a club with higher demands than Villa

Such a poor match this
Everyone knows Villa are a one man team as it is, but without Watkins their chance of scoring is even sillier.

And Everton are one of those teams you wonder how the hell they turned it on for a few games early season.

He's in the Harry Kane comfort zone.
Long deal on top earner status at "his" team.

In a way it'd be bizarre to want to leave.

I think that's doing Kane a disservice tbf I don't think the situations are the same

Everton don't even want to try to get at least a top 6 finish do they?

There is Grealish, after 3 months playing again.

Got bored waiting for even a good chance, and started rating which players I can't stand most between the two teams.

Mings, Konsa, Coleman, Digne all contenders.

McGinn teeters on the brink for his signature "get arse in way" tackling.

What's the difference?
Both are the star man in their home team, for a team who generally win 1 trophy every 2 decades.

Grealish on, and instantly they get their best opening. Pure class.

So a bit like Man Utd without Bruno and Cavani then? Every team struggles without their talisman and topscorer, hardly surprising.

Villa take it to extremes though.
Genuinely think they'd be in relegation trouble without Grealish.
