Good luck mate. I do not want DCL to score though, but if you get an ideal 2-2 game with Pereira 2 goals and Salah 2 goals I would be happy for you.
Ta bud. I would take that scenario and DCL just matching Godfrey!!

Hoping that it basically being attack v defence in differentials this week sees me through.
An early Salah goal will really calm me down.

Jota is out for the last 3 Klopp just confirmed.

Oh ffs, Jota out for the season. After I do the cautious thing and get him over Greenwood last week. Can't wait for this year to be over.

It's a funny phrase "out for the season" isn't it.
We are only a week from the end of the season in fairness.

But it's always annoying, when from no talk at all of a player even being doubtful, they're suddenly out.

At least means Salah should get 90 for the last 3.

Wow that is bad luck. Forster though I think you could have predicted with earlier comments about rotating the keepers.

Did you go City? Pep and no bench is a bad combo. That is like lesson one for new players. Do not trust Pep and have cover on the bench if you buy City players.
Jota, Dias and Pope.

My bench is Leno, Fernandes, Shaw, Ian Nacho.

I'd swapped Greenwood out for Rapinha with my free.

I was reluctant to swap any of the rest of them out as I didn't want to take a hit and worried with the prices I wouldn't get them back in. I didn't think Pep would rotate that much as their schedule is fine. I dropped the ball on Pope though.

1-1 Diagne and Mane goals would be the nightmare for your squad.

Like 0-0 is ok.Salah or Pereira scoring ok. None of the above really annoying.

I guess realistically it is 2-0 to Liverpool with a Salah, Mane goals and TAA/Firmino assists. No bonus for Salah and 3 for TAA.
Probably 4-7 saves for Johnstone too.

I guess Watkins gets to stay in my team till the 'end of the season' now. Jota out for pretty much anyone, then Bruno out for the last week (expecting him to be rested) is my plan.

Pep is on some weird give everyone a few games rotation tip before the final at the moment.

Will be very interesting what he does next game, he might even go Stones-Dias-Laporte as a back 3, having left all of them benched last game.

I need to catch 18 up, and cover Godfrey later, so a 0-0 is sort of ok, and would exactly catch back that 18. (6x2, 3 difference on Salah, and 3 Pereira), and would then leave it a shoot out Godfrey v DCL tonight.
Can't imagine Brom can keep a cleany though. Just a case of who onion bags it.

I think you made the right move. Jota would 100% get minutes if not injured. Dias you never know with Pep, but a -4 for cover not worth it I say.
Pope injury you might not known about. I remember him being a doubt on some site though, but a -4 for keeper often not worth it anyway.

I probably should have guessed he'd just give the squad minutes. I've loads of cover for the remaining GWs so not overly bothered about that.

Need a Mane(c) hat-trick to save this week though.

I think you have a good chance. I predict 8 Salah, 7 TAA, 2 Pereira and 2 Johnstone, but it can easily get better.

Yeah it was just bad luck really. I couldn't justify a -4 for any of them.

Getting in most keepers would have been bad anyway. Like Martinez failed, Fabianski failed. Guaita did not even play.

I guess Pickford would have been my pick for this week so we will see if he gets a clean sheet, but maybe even he gets a rest?

Hmm..TAA cleany gone.
But thankfully Pereira assist!

Took a few watches and checking my app to see it was Pereira!!
Feared it was another geezer who at quick look is similar looking.

Well I see it as a plus for you. Liverpool need to attack more and you got the points home.

You lost 2 points though in theory ignoring bonus, but if Salah score or TAA assist you shall have players fighting for bonus too.

Yeah, always better to log an assist rather than the vulnerable cleany points that can go at any minute.

Hopefully well set up that Salah/TAA need to play well, but Johnstone getting saves and surely can't get a cleany can he?

I say from watching TAA looks really good. Salah not so good. Johnstone no saves I think or I might have missed one. He got one so 2 more and you got a point.

Great goal by Salah though from nothing.

Phew .. can relax now Salah (c) scored.

Hopefully gets a hat trick and they lose 4-3
Was pissing about on my phone, but heard SALAH and yes!! Horrible to enjoy their goals, but this is fantasy footy, it's big ;)

Pereira assist and Salah cap v a rival who hasn't got him capped.
Need a bit more still. But a good start.

At least Salah as cap wasn't a bad call v Kane now.

Kane. Definitely not an “uncommon choice” but I feel Salah would have been most popular choice this week - which is who the leader went for.
I initially put it on Kane, and then saw that Salah was miles clear in the fantasy scout poll, loads on here were doing him, and the logic of an up and down Spurs with nothing to play for against a team with GD of 12, versus a Liverpool back in attacking form, desperate for wins and goals against minus 36 GD merchants.

Behind the right goal post as "Whiteside shoots!"

Everyone from 1st to 9th in my ML has Salah and captained him (10th doesn't have him).

Right now, there's a lot of similar squads.

My ML is going to remain tight so I just need the differentials to come off and make good tfrs... Coady or Watkins out is next week's decision.

You'll have a decent team if you can prioritise Watkins.
My lot all have him, so I'll leave him alone.

No Bruno, having done a -4 to cover Son is my big issue this week.

But if the points margin is decent, I can do Son & Castagne to Bruno, captain him, and Phillips.

Very finely poised so far.

18 behind, and presuming everyone plays 60, then it'd be
Salah 7
Pereira5
Johnstone 2
TAA 2

16.

Salah is currently on 3 bonus, and Pereira 1, but it's way too tight between the top 3 for it to even be factored in this early.
Either side could easily concede another, costing one of my boys a 1 pointer too.

Yeah I can see Salah drop out of bonus by missing chances. If he does Johnstone might get save points though. Either that or he score his second and then secures all 3. Pereira I think drop out from bonus if there is more goals not involving him.

Me and two others have him in the top 8 but his fixtures look tough.

Antonio's look better (though West Ham form not great) and there's always an unusual option... Benteke, Ings, Bamford (:nervous:)

If I was nursing that 18 pointer, and was watching with in effect no players in this game (ie have Salah but not captain), I'd be in for one hell of a nervous watch I think!

Hopefully that's how it pans out for my rival :)

Much more fun watching games when you have a string of attacking threats, rather than hoping for someone not to score, or even worse, that forlorn hope a team concedes against some no hopers!

Perfect scenario is similar to what you outlined earlier.
A 2-2 with the next goals being TAA/Salah/Pereira involvement.

Ahh TAA through to Salah and straight at the keeper.
That would have been the perfect combo!

Still, Johnstone gets his 3 saves for a 1 pointer, soon to be lost when he concedes his second?

A keeper gets the same as a defender for scoring? That’s horrendous.
