I would expect them to continue the game tomorrow or soon after, lots more things can go wrong from here with his body and brain. I can't imagine the players are in the right frame of mind.

My own thought would be that even if the players say they would be okay to continue, for their own sake give them a point each and leave it be until their next matchday
Yeah well can't fault his teammates who are not equipped to deal with something like that, people react differently and shouldn't be compared or judged for it. Unless they of course are doing something incredibly classless in such a situation.

They were giving him CPR and used the defib so it's likely he was dead for a period of time. His team mates saw him like that and wouldn't have known if he would be brought back. That's incredibly traumatic for them.

Brought back some bad memories of how my cousin Alim died. We played in the same 11 a side Sunday League team and after a headed clearance he just doubled over with his hands on his knees. Sadly he collapsed and never woke up. Nobody knew what to do...at the time we thought it was a head injury. It was horrific. He was only 22.
It turned out to be an arrhythmia caused by undiagnosed hypertophic cardiomyopathy - thickening of his heart. Apparently it's a lot more common in black people and can be passed down through families...another couple of reasons, as if any more were needed, that it sticks with me.
It was a decade ago with Alim and I still can't watch the Miklos Feher video because of how absolutely identical it was.
