Thank you, I appreciate it.

One big positive, and something that we always try to keep in the front of our mind as a family, was that after Alim's death his younger brother Abel was diagnosed with the same condition. Without Alim, it would likely never have been found. He would never have sought out testing. The cardiologist who treated him said he would have been a walking timebomb. So in a way it was Alim looking out for his little brother one last time .
That's a very nice thing to come out of it, despite the tragedy of it all. All my best to all of you mate.

Who are we to judge their state of mind? If you thought your captain had just had a serious health concern, possibly fatal. Then you find out he’s alive and communicating, id personally be over the moon.
What they'll have witnessed will have been traumatic and emotionally draining and I think it's a crass decision by UEFA to continue with this game a couple of hours later.

The players are not in the right mind right now to decide what they want for dinner let alone if they want to play.

Disgraceful by UEFA.

You shouldn't even fecking ask the players!!!

All for a meaningful 45 minutes of fecking football.

The fecking show must go on. Feck this
Literally, look at the posts above. The players talked to Eriksen.

Not the full truth that. The BBC could easily have pulled the broadcast. I understand that the panel in the studio might not have been composed enough to go straight to them, but there's other ways it could have been handled rather than just letting those images get broadcast.

If it's 100% the players' decision to play the game then Ok, we have nothing to say.

However no one can honestly convince me that UEFA didn't try to convince them that it's better to play this match tonight.
If the Denmark players didn’t want to ply the game, they would have said so. Don’t think UEFA had a leg to stand on if they forced them!

Incredibly stupid to continue with the play. I dont think it shouldn't even have been an option to play today. Just imagine the mental state of players right now.

Hell, the players are shattered psychologically when a player suffers a leg break which isn't fatal - look back on how PSV vs Utd panned out after Shaw's leg break or how Spurs vs Everton played out after Gomes had a leg break.

As far as logistics is concerned, postpone the games of that group by a day. I don't think the fans and maybe even the broadcasters will understand

The players talked with Eriksen before deciding.

That's a really sad story, sorry you had to experience that.
That sucks, I'm sure watching this must have brought back some bad feelings. :\
Jaysus that sounds awful. Sorry you had to go through that.
Cheers guys. Definitely brought me back to a dark place. I had to step away after a while, but was really so glad seeing that picture of him awake and responsive.
However, can't stress enough how important professional counseling is, really helped me cope.

Feels so odd that the game is restarting. Hope it was 100% the players decision and not pressure from UEFA.

So touching to see Schmeichel and Kjær act and reacts. Proper heroes and people. Being there for Eriksens partner on the sidelines etc.

Imagine seeing your son, husband, dad lying there. Cant believe a certain poster on here can show so little emphaty. Almost inhuman like. Shocking.

The teams wanted to

Find it a bit unsettling. However, really not sure there is a proper right or wrong perspective on this. The fact that he is well and fine plays a massive part in the decision no doubt, but residual emotion from the experience will still be there.
Feel its almost like concussion protocol, at some point, the decision shouldn't be in the players hands as they may not be in the best frame of mind to make the decision, however may not be really applicable in this case. And as I said, him being in a much more better condition than they feared, has played much into how this has developed.

So what? They are in a state of shock.

It's disgraceful from UEFA to even ask them to play.
Even if they want to!

Give them both a point and feck football for today.
You have literally no idea what the players are thinking. It was at the player's request to play the game. Stop being a moron.
