Ferguson was lucky to have such a talented squad, would he have been able to win titles with the likes of Emile Heskey and Titus Bramble?

Agreed. When was the last time he won a trophy? I think that says it all...

I mean he should have won the CL every single year and he never successfully oversaw the team that he wasn't managing when he retired.

No patterns of play, relied heavily on individual brilliance. Some Fergusexuals are just too naive to see reason.

Am I doing this right?
Its not that serious. You are entitled to your opinion and I am too!

lets play along here. The difference here is that SAF has/is an established legendary manager who’s name will always be on the front page of the football history books.

the Rashford thread is about discussing wether the fanbase is not expecting to much from him rather then accepting that he (may) not reach world class status.

therefore I respectfully disagree with this thread suggestion comparing an already established legendary manager with a talented player who still has to establish himself on a consistent level.

I mean he played 2 DM's in CL games, hoping for a set piece or individual brilliance and defend all game.

It was vibes only.

He was backed by billionaire owners. Unlimited money, hundreds of millions spent every summer. so success was inevitable.
