I'm kicking off with Ryan Gosling from The Notebook

Christ, how did he become a famous actor?! Zero talent. He's the one actor I can think of who i genuinely rate myself as a better actor than, without any training needed.

Jürgen Klopp.

I see right through his jovial "one of the lads" persona. I'm not buying it for a second.

Are we talking about overrated actors or performances? I thought he was great in Blue Valentine and Lars and the real girl.

This is just going to be a load of actors people don’t particularly like for whatever reason.

Acting ability.

I've unfortunately had to endure a few forgettable films he's been in and it really strikes me how woeful he is. When he acts alongside good actors (or at least actors who can act) it really shows.

It's a bit like when someone would get to the X Factor Semi Finals and then had to sing a duet with Nicole Scherzinger or Gary Barlow and you can really notice how far they are away from that standard. At least those X Factor finalists always went on to have nothing careers as expected. Genuinely shocked that Ryan Gosling still gets cast and paid to act in Hollywood.

Leo Di Caprio. He is a good actor, but he never makes me forget he’s acting.

I’ve not seen the Notebook, but he’s been a complete personality vacuum in everything else I’ve ever seen him in. Looks go a long way.

Maybe that's why people like Drive? If I remember correctly, he plays an overly calm and stoic character. I think most actors can pull that off. Hell, I'm starting to think that I could pull it off.

Well, we'd first have to create a Redcafe's Ultimate Best Actors Of All Time list to be able to discuss reasonably, otherwise overrated is hard to judge.

Orlando Bloom. Maybe not so much now, but his career exploded in the early 2000s and his performances were always so stiff and cheesy. He won and was nominated for a shitload of awards around that time, which is bonkers. The best thing he's done on screen was Extras, where he played himself, and that was only good because he was written to be a bit of a knobhead. He's the worst part of the Pirates and Lord of the Rings films.
