If a fight scene can be ''relevant'' today then I think it's this one. Keith David character isn't someone who is brain washed or a moron happily going through life but someone who is fully aware that the way he is viewing the world is an illusion yet he will do almost anything not to put the glasses on,. And he only changes because his conditions change(He literally gets the shit kicked out of him).

There are so many clever moments in They Live.

The train is comical long and yet it somehow adds to the fight. End up becoming very dream like.

I don't know much about movies but I have the best video game fight scene.

My favourite one from Banshee, Burton vs Nola

This is a good choice along with the chicken wing fight from the first season.

I‘ve come to add Into the Badlands(Amazon Prime) Any fight Sonny in is epic. Then Warrior on (SKY) both have tremendous fight scenes throughout that would rival any movie.

Rama vs The Assassin in Raid 2. I watch a lot of Asian martial art films and this is still my favourite fight scene.

Came here to post this. I’ve seen this so many times, love the way the music changes

Personally I prefer the 2v1 fight in The Raid. That was an exhausting watch. The little guy wouldn’t stop fighting, he was an animal.

Not technically a fight scene but the shootout at the end of The Good The Bad and The Ugly is incredible each time I watch it.

Obi-Wan and Qui Gon vs Darth Maul is there as well, was amazing when I saw it first and still is to this day. Anakin vs Obi Wan should have surpassed it but shocking editing and cgi ruined it.

Ive a soft spot for Beatrix vs Bill from Kill Bill Volume 2 as well. Just because its not the epic showdown you believe its building to.

This will always be great. I remember being devastated when I found out it wasnt actually filmed in the Colisseum itself like I believed originally.

Once upon a time in the West.

It builds up for two and half hours to the final duel between Frank and the man with no name who we only know as harmonica. We don't know why he's doing what he's doing. They line up and the harmonica music kicks in followed by Morricone's epic score, the camera zooms in on their faces (and I mean really zooms in) and then we get the flashback where we all become the wiser on why this is taking place. And as soon as the music ends, they shoot each other.

I could watch it every day for the rest of my life and never get bored of it.

If this particular thing is of interest, I’ve seen The Deluge mentioned as having the most realistic sword fight. You’ll also see The Duellists and Rob Roy listed for that subject.

From 1:20 in, it got built up to be your typical boss fight (with the dude in black, not the older dude), and then it was better than expected.

Not on this fannying about, straight to the point and the guy who was unreal at fighting stuff all through the film doesn't suddenly become a feckin potato. Just sorts it out in quick time.
