Surely Van de Beek must be better than Fred and Matic combined.... what's happening with that kid?

Not sure Fred and Matic will be looking back on this half with much fondness.

What's happened to Cavani?

As shown last year in this fixture he'd be a very useful player to put on second half. Instead have Martial plodding around.

He played 19 games, including 6 Champions League games. That's one-third of the season.
Look, I am not giving excuse. Injuries happen, some seasons more, some less. Liverpool would not have challenged last season even with the full team fit and Klopp made significant mistakes. But to say that he shat the bed over one injury is simply wrong, as there is a significant time delay between the supposed cause and the effect.
Two of those Champions League appearances were as a sub for 1 minute each. Context is important.

Spurs are basically Wolves now.

And people complained Jose was boring. My god Nuno is the most boring manager in the league.

If Man Utd bottle another big game against a weak opponent, people should be screaming Ole Out. A chance to tie the unbeaten away record against a nothing team.

Re: liverpool. I think it was burn out as much as injuries. Those players went 3 full years(2018-2020) playing at an impossibly high level, made CL final, 97 points & CL win, PL win with 99 points....with covid hitting at the worst time for them and making them unable to properly celebrate the PL title...

The amount of mental energy that took has to be incredible. It's kind of normal that as soon as things started going badly, it spiraled out of control. Covid again didn't help. Things are going bad at your work and you can't really explain why, and then you go home and there's covid and you're unhappy at home as well because of it, so you fall even further down the spiral, etc...i don't think this is a side that's capable of 90+ points anymore, but i'm not sure city, chelsea or united are either. Covid has flattened and diminished the general level of performance across the board

Matic bowling people over  what a sloppy game this is
This is a pretty reasonable view. And I agree with you that hitting 90+ points would be difficult, especially for Liverpool, as their forward line has not been refreshed.
Not every team has a Cristiano who scores 40+ goals each season.

Can't watch the Southampton match, how's my boy Livramento dping?
He is looking great. Saved a goal, clearing it off the goal line. Has recovered a lot to stop the attack and has been bringing the ball forward.

Livramento looks such a good young player. Very big future ahead of him I’d say.

12 shots to 1 in favour of Wolves over Spurs

I was devastated when I heard Nuno was being kept in the league. He is a despicable slithering reptile who should never be allowed to manage a football team. Boring nonsense.

If Traore could put the ball in the net, he surely wouldn’t be playing for Wolves.

The sloppy passers in the team have been seriously letting us down today. Southampton look the more likely to score at the moment.

Auba only fit for the bench, Lukaku in front of Havertz + Mount. Let's hope this one doesn't hurt too much...

Aside from @duffer's sexual fetishes, Livramento really looks like a good player

Also Saints are beating the everloving crap out of united and the ref is just letting them

Also Matic is so, so, soooo done

Southampton did well there. Looked like United would take control after equalising but the Saints had some good chances to win it later on.
