Chelsea (the saviours of football) fan.
When he said Inter pulled him out of shit? Was that a dig at United or am I reading it wrong?
If you're in "the shit", you're referring to a situation, not a place.

I would think he means "out of form, on the bench and not loving life" rather than just the odd phrasing of calling Manchester United. "the shit".

I do wonder why he joined us in the first place as he obviously doesn't have any fondness for us as a club though we cannot fault his effort when he was here.

Meanwhile Carlos Tevez last post on Instagram was him wearing our shirt strangely.
The blue jersey no less. His City followers must be fuming

So why did he turn Chelsea down for United?
Jose I imagine. There are plenty of videos and quotes of him saying as a young man that playing at Chelsea was his dream. It didn’t pan out as a young man. I think he is in a place now that he wants to make what he dreamed of as a young man happen. I think Tuchel makes that an easier decision for him.

well, theres a belgian guy on twitter who is supposedly close to lukaku, his name is kristof terreur. He has always said lukaku thought he was going to chelsea that summer, he was already telling people how excited he was to be coming back, and throughout his whole career, chelsea is the club hes wanted to be at.

So many game changing sitters too. Fecking donkey.
That's what frustrated me the most about him. The chances he missed were game changers. When he was on point and being clinical, we knocked PSG out of the CL, playing with a makeshift team due to suspension and injuries. Imagine the things we could have done had he been clinical.

Lethal guy. He has over 30 goals more than the nearest guy in the all-time list.
He plays for the best Belgium side of all time. Wesley Sonck has 24 in 55, swap them and he'd probably be getting similar numbers.

He's one of the best, that's why he's in that side. You think Benteke would get the same numbers? What about Origi haha

I think it is important to know who will hate him regardless of how good he is. Luckily they self identify really easily.

Benteke and Origi are pants. Sonck actually scored goals against good teams at the time.

You're not seriously comparing the two, are you? Sonck was a very good striker, but he never surpassed the level of the Belgian league.

Lukaku is one of the main reasons this Belgium side are the best ever (along with KDB, Hazard, Courtois, and, previously, Kompany)

Not that bothered about caveats like that, in all honesty. He's a great striker who's putting up all time great numbers. Whether someone else could have also done that is neither here nor there.

Yeah because he's getting crazy amounts of support - the numbers of chances he's missed is actually astounding but nobody talks about them - because Lukaku.
If it wasn't Lukaku it would be Benteke if it wasn't Benteke it would be Batshuayi. Both of them would be at 40-50 goals if they'd play constantly for their national team.

Is it any surprise United fans hate him ? He wasn’t even fit in his final season. Never mind his shocking form or stupid comments about the club as soon as he got his move to Inter. Totally unprofessional.

Lukaku is a decent player sure but is massively overrated by most including himself. Which is the root of the problem with him. He hasn’t progressed as a player for years and years now which is no surprise as he is a legend in his own mind.

“Don’t compare me to Ronaldo.” Who in the feck was or would, FFS.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him hunting down Ronaldos international goals record in the future.

He couldn't even sort his diet out at United!
He probably stress ate because of how bad the United team was around him. He was not very good on your team, but he has been for Conte and I think Tuchel will get much the same from him. We will see how it goes.

Whoa relax.. he scored 16 goals in the league not counting penalties in Italy. Sure he won them points with some important goals, and then they get hyped up.
