Thought the red for Porto was harsh. Not convinced Griezman is getting to the end of his touch

And even if he did, it's not like other players weren't close
Coupled with the ridiculous goal overrule that was just a dreadful performance from the refs. Porto must feel hard done by after that.

Atletico-Porto was a crime against humanity, as expected

If there is a justice Liverpool and Milan will smash both

Can we get a participation Medal or something ?

Sporting won’t be able to hear their own farts for a week after what Ajax did to them….
You guys were unlucky that this is the first match Haller played rather good for Ajax. Normally he'd miss a few

I'm satisfied with Ajax' result :D
Congrats! That performance reminded me of how unlucky you guys were last season with failing to register Haller and having to play your 3rd GK (who botched it).

Go get us those coefficient points.

No team in particular.
PSG midfield look so underwhelming without Verrati.

For all the money PSG has, their midfield looks like a midfield from a mid table team from Spain-Italy-Germany and not from top team who wants to win UCL...i mean they subbed Leandro Paredes for Danilo Pereira ffs.

Shows that money can't buy passion for the shirt, look at the difference in passion between LFC and United yesterday.

How much of that shitshow did you manage to watch?
Very little but checking xG they don't make 1 goal between both of them. Also, honestly? It's Atletico and Porto. Don't need to watch to know what it's about

Needlessly made that difficult for ourselves. But a win is a win.

And PSG drew.

Not really unlucky. Haller doesn't really fit at Ajax. He did really well tonight, but usually he's not much.

You lot played us off the pitch.

If the 2-3 goal stood I think we would have been able to possibly get a draw but the disallowed goal and the immediate 4-1 right after was a gut punch.

We did better second half but that first half was pure dominance from Ajax.

See you lot in the return fixture where hopefully we bring some lotion this time.

In fairness with that front three you're going to want a bunch of workhorses. A bit like Liverpool with Henderson, Milner and whoever the other dude was. The kind of players who'll work their bollocks off covering the entire pitch while the lads up front wave them off hanging out in the middle. Only PSG's front three are 100x lazier obviously.

Watching Messi point where he wants his teammate to run, before passing in the completely opposite direction was hilarious to watch. He looks like he can't be arsed.

I don't know how good/shit he is but he will be sacked if he continues like this. Couldn't win the French league. And now results like this.... Will absolutely lead him to be sacked.
True though I'd expect individual brilliance to bail Poch out this season.

Poaching top players past their peak doesn't change much, if you still rely on one guy (Verrati) for the team to play properly.

I think PSG will have troubles attracting a top midfield cause they won't be down to play in Ligue 1 at their peak... I think PSG can snatch De Bruyne in a couple of years when he is past his peak and City signs a replacement for him, but that's about it.

Ugh, Nuno Mendes at PSG now. What a waste.
The whole PSG team feels like a waste  Neymar, Mbappe, Messi, Veratti, Hakimi.... I'd much rather see all of them in a better league. Players like Ramos and di Maria is a bit more understandable.

Good win for us today, now I can finally enjoy Barcelona losing.

Camavigna has been good so far so hope he keeps getting feature here and there. He isn't the signing we were hoping for but it's a good addition nonetheless to reinforce midfield. Also gotta feel bad for Mbappe, stuck playing for that lot while getting injured, hope is nothing serious and he should prioritize his health and fitness so he can play for us right away next season.

Looked like a knock, he tried to carry on but I think it was too painful to continue

Chelsea

This is pretty much in line with how both performed against us last season. Haramball galore but Porto do carry a bigger threat with their press, fouling and physicality.
