Whatever they are putting in the water back in Munich, we need to get the same shit.

If it is just hard work, our players and staff should be ashamed. They probably get paid much better.

Watching their celebratory videos, pretty much all of the Bayern team look ripped as feck. And its not just a wasteful aesthetic bulking for the Instagram pictures. It's clearly focused to maximize football performance.
Tbh it's the least I expect from a professional athlete.

It seems completely normal for footballers to party and end up chubby, but it shouldn't be. Being in shape should be the minimum expected. Even on holidays. Shameful how some players get back from summer break with a belly, such attitude should be erradicated from a club immediately.

From Bayern I only follow Lewandowski on instagram but even during his holiday after they wrapped up the Bundesliga he was posting ig stories every day working out. I'm sure it was no different with the other Bayern players.

That is top athlete's mentality. Higuain making a 90M transfer and arriving his first day at his new club overweight is unacceptable.

Its not physiques imho, its the level of atleticisim, stamina, strength in the modern game. You compare football now to the 90's and its a different game by miles. I know training and sport science has vastly improved but man these guys are too fit. I genuinely think modern Liverpool or Bayern would muller any 90's team by a cricket score such is the difference.
Well yeah, I'd be inclined to agree any modern team/person would be an older foe if merely just time travelled them for a battle... not sure what your major point is. That's always been the case.... thus why very records continually get beaten. Maybe were getting close to a peak now though....as I don't see major advancements in such short spaces any more, at the top, they are just becoming more complete in being able to focus on everything.

People in general are just fitter, more focused, theres an absolute wealth of knowledge out there for very little effort now compared to the 90's and that's just me and you - forget the knowledge money and motivation can bring. Things that used to be specialist to certain sports are now in every sport.

Your local pub team is probably fitter and generally all round better than it was in 1996. Though obviously the lower you go, the more you can probably comfortably rely purely on talent. If you teleported peak Le Tissier to now..... he'd probably be done after about 5 games.

Half of our first team on holiday together. Another indication of the great atmosphere in the squad, I'd say.

I know it's unlikely but United have contacted Goretzka Agency , they are interested in Goretzka and if he can't agree a Contract with Bayern , they would be open to negotiate with Bayern. Ole is a huge Fan of Goretzka

I might start buying United shirt, if Goretzka signs. But most likely he's just Ramosing* us.

*This should be an official Caf verb.

tbf he's not doing anything, in the same report that said we'd enquired about him it said he wants to stay at Bayern

True he might not. But it's usually the interest of his agent, not the player himself.

Would be incredible signing but he’s German and is at Bayern.

More chance of extracting blood from a stone.

It's his last big contract so I can see him being tempted if we offer 50 grand or so more. You never know

He signed a new contract until 2026, was expecting him to leave for free next summer.

That's our center midfield locked up for the next half decade. His and Kimmich's extensions were absolutely crucial. No we just need a little more depth.

wasn't really worried. There were repeated reports in the local press that he likes it *a lot* in Munich, also seems him, Josh Kimmich and Gnabry are thick as thieves. Would have required for Brazzo to screw up the contract extension talks really royally, and there is way less chance of that happening without the red-cheeked watch collector and the tax dodger around.
