Losing to Comeback Winning!
I have two questions:
1) What happened to the scientist Eve? superboy's "mother"?
She suddenly disappear just like that. Poof~

2) So who pulled the pranks on the Titans -- Donna, Hawk, Dove and Raven?
The four of them accused Jason (no way it's him), while Dick thought it's Deathstroke (childish of him, out of character).
Was it Rose? but how does she know details about the four Titans?

Yesterday finally binged watch S2.

Didn't expect much so overall it's enjoyable. The opening i.e. episode 1 and the final episode are just so boring. The rest of the 11/12 (?) episodes are fun.
Yeah thats how I felt binging it. The cliffhangers werent much of an issue cos we could go straight into the next episode and not be annoyed with the wait. The first episode just felt like a different season / story completely and the last episode, it was like they were told 'quick finish it off, wehave no budget' and just ended Deathstroke and everything else.

The finish to the DS story was so disappointing, especially as they made him into a badass, and when you compare it to the way DS story went in Arrow (for those who watched s2 of it)

A) Was that Jorah Mormont and B) Are they hinting towards a certain comic book storyline at the start?

No longer on Netflix? Wack.
Is it not that they’ve binned the DC streaming service? Was always released to Netflix after the season had finished and I’m sure if you click on Titans in Netflix it says another season is coming.

Maybe Sky could screw that as they have a deal with HBO do they not.

Anyway, given how bad the 2nd season was I’m not holding out much hope that this will be any better.

Yah Jorah is Bruce Wanye.

Not an expert but there seems to be things in the trailer that to me would make the time line out of whack. Makes it seem like The Killing Joke has already happened.

Pretty sure that is Barbara Gordon in the wheel chair. So after Killing Joke. Then seems like we have the Red Hood which I think is supposed to be the main story line.

Good stuff. Really enjoyed the first 2 seasons, looking forward to the next.

Ahead of the first season, somehow I missed the adult content ratings and sat down to watch it with my 10 year old son. I don't think we made it past the 2 minute mark before I had a quick rethink about its suitability for him.

I really hope they increase the budget this season moving to HBO MAX. The limitations have hampered the storytelling of the first 2 seasons. With streaming services going all out on some of these shows recently with lavish budgets there is no reason we shouldn't see that here.
I'd like to see more Conner this season. His episodes were the strongest last season. But they seem to be going a Gotham Knights/Killing Joke area.

I can't stand Jorah as Bruce Wayne in this version though. It isn't working for me at all so adding more of him is ugh. I'd prefer more of Dick as Nightwing. Just use him as the family link to Jason

@Shane88 damn I think you’re right. Went to check my Netflix and they’ve changed it. It no longer has “Another season is coming” next to it. Guessing it will show up on Sky Atlantic now.

Three episodes in and already better than last season. The ending of episode three was a cruel twist.

To be fair, I think the first two seasons were fantastic. I know there are people that hate it but I love all of it.
They were good , but I felt with season two, they spent too much time on the individual stories and the ending was rushed.

Good start to the season. Story feels a lot more tighter/focused than last season.

I might be biased here, but the pacing seems completely off to me.

Just finished watching the first two episodes, and all I can think was this could have been spaced out over 1 or 2 seasons.

I liked the twist with episode 3. But I hate the idea of killing off these characters like with Tempest/Aqualad, Jericho and now Hawk. Also theres no grey area with Jason, he's just a straight villain and theres no redemption to be had

Episode: 5 Vincent Kartheiser is the perfect choice for Dr Crane/ Scarecrow. That dance.

This season so far seems much improved to last season. Hoping it keeps going and finishes strong. Think episode 8 was the last one I saw. But yeah really enjoying it so far.

Good season so far but Superboy is a cheat code that could easily deal with Scarecrow & Dick’s just using him as a side-character for basic tasks.

This season has been very uneven for me. I had complaints previously with the cast being too big to handle the limited storylines. Like Hawk and Dove were getting way too much storyline imo. They sort of solved that and paired down the characters a bit so they didn't have so many wallpaper characters .

But, the other problem they had was clearly that some storylines were dictated by the limits on budget. Gar for example only being able to turn into a Tiger every now and then because it would cost too much to turn him into other more relevant to plot animals. It severely limits his usefulness and he ends up doing silly things just to be there. I thought they used Superboy better last season in his more focused episodes. Here hes just being used as a what would Luthor do plot device.

Crane not wearing the costume at all is a bad choice imo. There were scenes that would be far more creepy in costume as Scarecrow proper. Then we have Blackfire I would have preferred her staying a straight up baddie. She's too watered down here it is a waste. Maybe they have a proper villain turn later but right now blah.

It also bothered me how they don't explain how Crane got a Lazarus pit to ressurect Jason. Ras Al Ghoul and Talia just let anyone borrow pits now?

There is a lot they can do with Tim, but they just jammed him into the story here poorly. There is no Bruce to bring him in so he just happens to figure out everyone's identities on his own because he is just so uniquely intuitive? But, he manages to walk right into getting shot by Crane? Weak

This is true, would make more sense if he was a troubled teen struggling to adapt to his abilities and say dick was holding him back for fear of what he might do or if the Luther in him takes over. I still feel as if they are building to something, and more will happen with him.

waiting for Raven to return with wonder girl then resurrect Hank somehow

Wondering how many episodes the season has as still feels like there is a lot to do in the season.

um

Wasnt the light behind Scarecrow where his mother apologised a sight line from a gun? Wasnt that the point, that she set him up. I was confused watching, wondering why they didnt shoot

One thing I am a fan of in this show though is Hawk. I think he comes across pretty well. Even though the supernatural part of Hawk and Doves' powers are not represented on the show, this episode has him closer to that and the main point is he gets angry and very direct, which is the character. He's entertaining

I had high hopes after an intriguing start to the season, but it’s so boring.

Dick’s treatment of Superboy is so strange & inexplicably bad. I can’t tell if it’s his ego not wanting to use the cheat code to save Gotham or if he’s genuinely afraid of the Luthor in him, but they’ve not explained why he keeps sidelining him & it comes across as really poor writing. What is the point of him & Gar?!

Fairly obvious that they’lluse the Lazarus Pit to bring Dick back.

This show has gone completely off the rails. The writing is absolutely terrible. They make Dick an absolute complete moron. For no reason at all. But, they did the same to Batman in this "world'. Nightwing is a good character in the comics. He is NOT this dumb. Every episode getting played and making stupid decisions over and over and over again.

Last episode the stuff with him and Conner made no sense logically. You can tell the writers just couldn't have Conner on the board because he can take out Scarecrow and Red Hood alone easily. Well it was the writers decision to do this season in Gotham and have the main villain be just Scarecrow who Batman normally deals with alone. Now you have to take powerhouse characters like Conner off the board "for the story". But, the writers just choose to make everyone stupid and make nonsense decision to get there. They did the same to Barbra. She is a technological genius on top of being the first Batgirl. But, she consistently gets played too and has her signature contribution, Oracle, taken off the board easily as well.

I like a lot of these characters from the comics. And if they had an entirely different writing team they could have a way better show. Even with the budget limitations they clearly have. I could forgive the budget issues they have which we see with Beast boy only being able to turn into the tiger 3 times a season because its already rendered in CGI. Instead of him being able to dynamically change to all the animals he usually does. Not every show is going to spend 20 million an episode I get it. But, to forgive that the writing needs to at least be creative and make sense. This is a mess.

Glad I’m not the only wanting starting to think this is slipping again. It started out ok, but getting season 2 vibes with the structure again. So many stalling and pointless filler rubbish that it just kind of ruins it.

The way they portray Dick is also so annoying. Like I can understand the mistrust of superboy and I feel like there will be a redemption to how he has been treated so far.

You’ve got possibly the 2nd most powerful person on the planet who is half supervillain, not really tested and in the last season killed a whole load of people. So I can understand Dick not trusting him. Emphasised more by the moment they had even though I feel like that was a large over reaction. Probably intended to drive a wedge so he moves closer to Blackfire.

I’m guessing this is on purpose but it seems more like rehashing last season with Dick just being so blind to the idea of a team, leading it and how he treats people. I get they are trying to make him seem more complex but it’s so poorly done that it’s becoming a distraction. There is a lot of promise with the show but it really needs some help in its structuring.

Have to agree, that after a good start, it as come of the boil, Conner might as well not be there, Star fire's storyline is boring and Beast Boy still as not been able to transform into anything else but a tiger.
