It's looking pretty essential to get either a City or Chelsea defender in.

Probably the biggest priority in this lineup below?

Sanchez Foster
TAA Shaw Coufal White Tsim
Salah Gray Greenwood Benrahma
Ronaldo Antonio Bamford

0.7m in the bank, so Coufal to Rudiger could be the way, as he'll surely be the most likely starter in their defence.
That’s the exact transfer I’ve been thinking about. Hopefully he’ll stay at 5.5 mil till week 7, as surely most won’t transfer him in ahead of City.

I could do it this week, as I’ll probably play Livramento vs Wolves over Coufal anyway.

59 points. Not bad, not great. Slight drop in rank but could have been a whole lot worse if I didn’t have Odegaard coming off the bench

That goal will probably put him top of the defenders, so can't imagine it'll stay off people's radars.

It's whether it's time to get off Coufal, when he has assist potential v Leeds and then Brentford coming up.

Certainly no early decision with midweek games ahoy.

Rudiger saving my gameweek there. 61 points
Was looking ropey yesterday.

Don’t want to rush into transfers but Traore needs to go, on account of being crap.
Jota will probably get 1 more week. And week after next need to get another Chelsea defender in and a Man City defender.

Might be be best to even make no transfers this week and do 3 the week after for a mini overhaul.

I don't have a Chelsea defender but I'm starting to think one is a must have.

Alonso for the same price looks incredible value. Taking corners and free kicks. Gets in the box and was about to score one today.

Man City next then Southampton, Brentford, Norwich, Newcastle, Burnley.

1 is essential for that run, possibly 2.
I have Rudiger, think Alonso is a must have too.

The elephant in the room is Chilwell. You just know you're signing up for misery going with someone who has a direct competitor like that.

Rudiger is surely the most nailed of the centre backs and has that goal threat himself.

I'm likely to bring Rudiger in first. But might even sack Shaw off to another Chelsea guy, as we have a tough spell soon.

That United game went perfectly:

United win
Ronaldo scores but doesn't get more than Captain Salah
Greenwood does nothing
Benrahma scores
Benrahma gets 3bps

Yeah that's there but doesn't look Alonso is getting dropped. Will be clearer by midweek if Chilwell is starting for cup games and Alonso earmarked for the PL.

Doubling up will probably be a decent option, unless Shaw starts getting some proper bank.

Pretty much nailed on for most people I'd say. A lot of wildcards will be played after gw6. I'm tempted to double up.

I have a bench of Rudiger, Benrahma and Cash. Lost 32 points today as I have not checked the injury statuses of Richarlison, Webster and Alli was shit. Might be my worst gameweek of all time.

Was watching the the game and this guy is rediculously attacking, constantly in and around the box he pretty much plays like a winger in this system. Problem is whether he will keep his spot with Chilwell sitting on the bench.

Yeah my team is looking strong for next week so no panic, but I still don’t like the fact I’ve got three West Ham players.

I’ve ended up with Bamford, so will probably ignore Raphina for now. This means Benrahma will probably stay for the next couple and Coufal is easiest to lose.

Yep, the triple up is a good point.
Coufal is decent for the odd assist, but I think the Chelsea coverage is critical now. We've had enough warnings, 1 goal conceded in 5 games now, and that was the totally against the run of play pen for James hand balling it!!

City are strong in defence too, but not quite as easy to fit their guys in. Walker is 5.5m, but it's probably Dias you'd want at 6m.
Either way, probably Chelsea is more essential.

Yeah, that was my plan from the start. Chelsea in gw7. But it is hard to pick with Tuchel's rotation. Alonso is best option but i can see Chilewell getting chances in games where Alonso is nailed for CS. Rudiger is cheapest but 5.5 is not THAT cheap for CB.
I will go for Mendy i guess. Although he is also bloody expensive

As i recall you have good team. Just bad luck this gw.
Sanchez
TAA Shaw Ayling Livramento Williams
Salah Grealish Greenwood Raphinha Gilmour
Lukaku Bamford Jimenez

My next moves:

GW6: Sarr in for Grealish
GW7: Rudiger in for Williams
GW8: one of Jimenez/Greenwood goes, replacement tbd

I'll be doubling up on the Chelsea defence on wildcard for sure. Its just a matter of which two. Probably Rudiger and whichever full back looks most nailed at the time.

A lot of money in defence with Trent too though.

Yours wasn't fecked before the final game?
I had a green Arrow with a +10% that got turned to a -3% red. I wasn't worried about Lukaku given he's crap against any decent team but just needed Spurs to ruin their CS but instead their two most owned defenders come out with attacking returns and BPS. Utterly disastrous.

Yeah won't be doubling up for that reason. Trent Rudiger Dias is fine as the three.

[Irrelevant point] is like a striker but that Chilwell potential rotation always stop me to get him. :annoyed:

What's everyone make of Greenwood? Lucky to get an assist last game I thought and other than that I don't think he's had a shot in the last 2 games.

These mids in the 7-8m price bracket not lookin great at the min.
Easy keep for the next two home games, then get rid after the international break.

Yeah I was considering going from him to Sarr given I'm likely not gonna have him when I WC. He's been playing too wide at times but even today he was making runs and usually gets into goalscoring or assisting positions. Probably shouldn't look much into a WHU away game. We have Villa at home next so probably wise to keep him for that.
