Just enough to make everybody forget how bad we were.

What a man Ronaldo is.

Great win, but these performances are shocking.

We need to play way better.

If we had a defensive midfielder and a decent coach we'd be quite the team

Happy about the result but it should have probably been 4-1 to Villarreal or something. The game should have been out of sight for us well before they even scored their goal.

Surely he has to get Dalotest rating ever. Dreadful performance from him.

Shocking performance really but those 3 points are all that matters.

I hate the way the team plays right now, but what a finish.

How do we fix this team right now? It just doesn't work.

If I was to pick a way of beating Uniteds bogey team I think a winner in the 5th minute of injury time would probably be it.

Suck on that Villarreal with your poxy penalty shoot out win in May.

We won but the team performance was horrible. We look disjointed all over the pitch and this really is down to the ones managing the team we have and this can not continue. I´m happy we won though.

Good result and attitude to keep going

But we were really bad for most of it and can't keep relying on get out of jail moments

Ronnie saved Ole's bacon

I mean that pretty much sums us up under Ole. One of the worst home displays I’ve ever seen from United in Europe. Could have genuinely been four down at the half.

Clearly not sustainable to win like that. The Portuguese lads are keeping him in a job. They’re carrying the team and yet because of that they may be holding the club back.

Everyone will be on an emotional high but that was so much harder than it needed to be. We’re wasting the best group of players we’ve had in over a decade on a manager who wouldn’t get another job in any of the top European leagues. Pretty disgraceful.

There are obviously still huge issues with the team but it's really fecking fun when you win a game like that.

Matic at 32 is the only midfielder capable of playing forward passes.

Cavani was excellent when he came on - did not stop running.

Lingard is having massive moments in games - surely he’s worth a start on Saturday ?

Shout out to Sancho also who I thought showed signs tonight that he’s getting there - runs in behind, taking players on. He’s going to be a great player for us.

And what can you say about Ronaldo? Was anonymous for about 80 minutes but when it matters you know he’ll score !

We do we only switch on when we’re down. So mystifying. But job well done. 3 points is all that matters at this stage.

Papering over the cracks which are getting bigger every match. A real Dick Turpin job. We cannot play any worse than that first half. Everton next and we can’t keep playing like this. Buy a decent defensive midfielder.
