I imagine the concern is that Ronaldo isn't making the other players look better. Yet anyway. So far they aren't playing any differently, haven't really changed a bit in fact. It looks bad. It makes the players look bad. It makes the coaches/manager also look bad.
Hopefully they'll get the hint.
Nonsense. I loss count on how many times we look bad over past 3 years without Ronaldo, it’s a major problem of the team which couldn’t be solved with Ole in charge, we are simply disjointed team which rely heavily on individual and has always been playing without a system. Ronaldo has only been here for 4 games and scoring 4 goals for us, what else you want from him? Coach the team himself and dictate our build up play from midfield immediately? Which isn’t his strength and what we bought him for anyway. We bought him for goals, and he has delivered us goals.

And you are blaming him on the 3 loss? When 1 of the loss he didn’t even play, the other loss he scored our only goal and was sub out when his replacement assist opponents the winning goal, while the 3rd loss is more to do with Bruno missing last min penalty and Greenwood wasting chances and being selfish throughout.
Mickson is a WUM... I don't know why he doesn't just go and post on RAWK....Guess the Brentford result got him riled up:lol:

Maybe you should read what I wrote instead of putting a laughing smiley, and in no sentence did I blame Ronaldo for anything. All I said was that I don't think we will be a better team with Ronaldo in it, and so far you can hardly say that I'm wrong. I also think it will be more noticeable in top games when we need to be better without the ball.
See my response above. If the team doesn't look better with Ronaldo, it says really bad things about the other players and the mgmt, right? Why should Utd buy anyone if the other players won't use their abilities for the team's benefit? Why would you think highly of the manager if he couldn't make someone like Ronaldo work?

I didn't say it was Ronaldo's fault. I'm says it shows the team/mgmt up. People can rationalize almost any player not fitting in. I don't think they can rationalize Ronaldo not fitting.
- can't do a thru ball to Ronaldo
- can't cross so Ronaldo can head the ball
- can't find Ronaldo when he's clearly open
etc etc
Looks bad.

Winning is about scoring goals

Ronaldo is the best (ever) at scoring goals

it’s like going to war with a sniper rifle, but not knowing how to use the flipping scope! Set it up properly, and it’s deadly accurate, and cannot be stopped!

Ronaldo is better than Greenwood down the centre. Greenwood needs humbling and told to learn from the master, which will stand the kid in good stead. Greenwood reminds me of Mbappe last night, where his ego came above the team.

Ronaldo is not an arm waver, but I bet he’ll be telling Fergie it’s tactically not right.

Bad as he was that’s why he’s here. Get him chances and he’ll score goals.

It's why you never sub him off. His legs might give out at times, but his mind never.

his lack of pressing really harmed us... but the goal... wow, the worst he plays the more you expect a last minute goal

He was really bad from most of that, it’s a worry for the general team, he makes up for it in the end but maybe we wouldn’t be in that position in the first place with someone else there. It’s hard to know either way.

He's extremely fit and the best finisher in the world. Him playing shit is not a problem, compared to other players we have.

Realistically speaking though, it's clear that he can't dribble or even run that much anymore. He's basically a classic number 9 at the moment and as I said, our manager doesn't have a clue about how to use him properly.

So glad for him to actually get a moment like this late in his career. A winning goal at home in the Champions League. Ronaldo in a nutshell.

Really hope we win something big while he is here

Horrible game from him overall but he's there to score those big goals and he always delivers.

Kind of sucks that Ronaldo provided one of the only United cross today which he would kind of enjoy as an attacker . How is this team so bad at crossing the ball

Incredible how he can always be there when you need him, regardless of how he’s played.

Serious question, has he been booked more times in his career for taking his shirt off than he has for tackling or any other game incident? And if so, is he the only player to have this kind of record?

He was shit, but that's why you leave him.on for as long as possible. Especially when the game is hanging in the balance.

That is why you keep Cristiano Ronaldo on, even if he's having a dodgy game. He's a habitual match winner. He's been doing it for nearly two decades, and he'll keep doing it until the day he retires.
