Similar top speeds maybe, but not sure about acceleration. Marcus in full flight is absolutely rapid.
Get what you mean. I'm actually looking forward to seeing him back in action as he offers a more direct threat than some of our other wide forwards. He looks like hes been working hard in the background so he should come back rearing to go

Yep, that quad change really could make him even more explosive + better balance which could be very exciting.

He could already spank a ball, that extra muscle could break the net  I think he's going to absolutely love working alongside Ronaldo (especially in the gym) as he is a top professional who clearly looks after himself.

He’ll probably come back and start running into players or misplacing passes like the rest of the team do.
He'll be a lot more direct and offer a lot more runs in behind, and give us way more pace, all of which is lacking when we play Pogba wide. Not to mention always having one of Greenwood or Rashford to bring off the bench which inevitably makes a big difference.

Don’t get me wrong, I miss watching him play for us. I’m just very pessimistic about our performance levels right now, and you know a bad performance or two and some will be banging the “he wouldn’t start for a top 6 team” drum again.

Hope our fans would be a bit more patient with him. He hasn't played for months. But eventually he'll be great for us again that I've no doubt.

I still remember his matches against City then Spurs couple years ago. At that moment I believed he was on the verge of turning into a very special player. Then his injury, Martial's injures and he's been forced to play through his injures and never looked fit again for more than a year. We had no choice back then if he didn't play it's James. I'm really glad now we have the opportunity to allow him his long awaited surgery. Hope he'd be back and complete that transformation I saw back then.

I really think that when he will return he'll bring that "good vibes" factor to Jadon Sancho with him and Jadon will start to look better and "dancing on the pitch"

There is no one in our team like Marcus, no one as direct who has that zip about them, I cannot wait until he is back playing for us, i really feel the team needs his qualities right now and i am excited to see how he fits in with Sancho and Ronaldo plus I am sure Bruno can't wait for there to be a player who makes runs in behind the defenders.

Safe to say IMO, he will complement Ronaldo much better with his pace than Sancho, even if Sancho is at his best.

Dont care what anyone says we've missed him and he's gonna hopefully breath life into this team.

Great to see him back. I hate this phrase but it'll be like a "new signing"

Cannot wait for Marcus to come back. With him on the left and Sancho on the right, and Ronaldo down the middle, we will be some attacking force.

I'm hoping that he will bring back our mojo, and inject some pace into our play. I can see him linking up well with CR7.

We have missed him. He's looks to be in great shape and is going to be like a new signing. We need some good news.

He’s never rated higher than when he’s injured.
Unfortunately for you even when he's playing injured he still scores 20 goals and gets 14 assists too.

Rashford will be vital in these big games coming up. He's a big game player.

He's back and raring to go! I'm really excited to see how he plays with his idol Ronaldo. Rashford has modeled several aspects of his game on Ronaldo

Ronaldo will be shocked when he finds out he is basically playing with the 23year old version of himself.

Not at the same level though, before the complaining begins;)

Its definitely a problem that three of our best attackers in Ronaldo, Rashford and Greenwood are all selfish and dont have the best of work rate(Rashford's workrate has dropped immensely).

I was watching a video about how player at United were not running much between the half spaces and trying to move the defenders along with them.

I'm hoping that when Rashford comes that this will happen. That the defenders get kind of magnetised towards our forward line a bit more and open up spaces to players in other positions.
