Hansen is back.
Damn, some kids I would have liked to see: Willie, Mainoo, Gore, Hansen (back) and Hugill back to own age. On the bench Habeeb Ogunneye who I hear is an amazing junior defender. :(

People complaining about MUTV today, surely you realise the first team were playing at roughly the same time as both u18s and the 23s?

Anyway, interesting that Hugill was with the 18s. Previously mentioned that his performances had dropped after coming back from injury so good to get some confidence back.

And surely you know they have all night to show replays instead of showing shite like Dan James interviews for the 100th time when he doesn’t even play for the bloody club anymore.

They never even bothered to post highlights of the u23s Arsenal match. Have you an excuse for that too? People complaining about MUTV are completely right too, it’s been an absolute joke.

It’s genuinely so shit how few games we have to watch. The youth teams, in previous years, were a nice escape from the first team but we’ve had nothing to go off and in half the games we have been able to watch the camera angle has been a joke (which admittedly isn’t always their fault but still).

I know MUJAC said that MUTV and Man Utd differ, but they're incredibly shit at giving us updates in general. Don't update the squad list, doesn't put in games in the schedule, rarely write anything before a game, they just let it be and write a match report after. That's what they do. No love.

Some 23's games they just show the goals, one of them was 1.45 minutes long. Yes, the repeats are endless and wish they could do some academy interview with coaches, docs on mason and rashy growing up, something different to CL games from 15 years ago.

1:45 is an absolute joke when you think about it, if we’re paying however much a month, if we can’t watch the games live I’d still like to see at least an 8 minute highlight reel

Exactly, logged in and literally 4-5 scenes of shooting and goal. I wasn't sure if this was a wind up but no, it actually happened. :annoyed:

What's with MUTV's new commentary on youth games highlights? The commentators tell you what is going to happen 20 seconds before it happens, why would anyone want that?

The girl sounded like she were 10 years old! Not that she did anything wrong, apart from describing what will happen long before but I imagine that's not her fault.

Think rather than the live commentary reaction you get on MUTV because they were televised, having the highlights commentated on afterwards they have gone with the classic MotD style description of events.

It was supposed to be on Thursday the 7th. Still dated then on the official site.
Yep, correct, got my days mixed up, not sure what the lineup will be as they play Wolves in the PL cup on Saturday.

It's on Middlesbrough's site as tomorrow too...but you are right...two games in three days.

Btw...do you know who scored for 16's v Newcastle?
Isn´t that cup game the weekend after? It´s set on the 16th on the official site.

United just scored a really well worked goal at 2-0 down to make it 2-1, only for the Middlesbrough player to score from the halfway line

Boro player sent off. Understatement of the year from the commentator "The Boro-player has put his team in a bit of trouble" - yes a red after 25 minutes is a bit of trouble"

It's just stupid considering how unnecessary his first yellow was too.

Kambwala needs to wake up, just tackled Ogunneye to give a through ball to the Borough player. Speaking of Ogunneye, he's just won a penalty. Perfect penalty, 2-3.

Oyedele looks after the ball exceptionally well.

Really poor from us in the second half so far - we aren't even making it difficult for Boro

3-3, Mainoo. In fairness Borough have been virtually flawless defensively.

Worth saying considering how often I moan about officiating, but this has been without a doubt the best referee I’ve ever seen at this level.

Our coaches will not be happy with our performances in the 2nd half. But Boro did well and deserved their point

He's a striker from what I've read and was voted the player of the tournament in a recent competition playing for the England u17s. He's considered to be a big talent in the Harry Kane mould. And if the the above tweet is anything to by, he will likely join us in January and is also a United fan.

Tbf, that guy from the second tweet also said that Kaide Gordon will join United)
