Ole isnt a united legend.. hes a sub who got on the end of a off target header last minute to win a huge game. hes the worst manager in the prem.. worst than steve bruce.. newcastle genuinely play better more cohesive football than us. ole might actually be the worst manager in europes top 5 leagues. and the 6th as well.
We need to wade through the emotion after witnessing a game like that, and not talk silly.

He has 126 United goals. He didn't just spawn one in off his backside.

Nah he IS a legend. He’s also woefully inadequate for the job he has

I think that's our worst match since Ole took over. So many bad decisions by players, no cohesion, and the effort was lacking. It might be fair to say that Ole is losing the locker room. If we get run over by Liverpool, I think Ole will get fired.

- I hate to say this but Ronaldo looked his age today. It's not why we lost, he just looked a step slower than the defenders.
- When Bruno gets the ball I'm not confident anymore he will make a good play.
- Obviously Maguire should not have started.
- I thought AWB was turning a corner last season and was going to be a good attacker, I don't think that anymore.
- I saw France vs Spain and Pogba was sensational. He is rarely sensational for Man Utd.

This is do depressing.

Really difficult watch.

The players looked sluggish and disinterested. A bunch of headless chickens running around with no game plan, due to our incompetent manager who sits still the whole game too busy thinking about a tin of fermented sardines from Norway.

Why so much negativity only after 8 games in. Last week, you lot were negative after 7 games and now after 8 and I’m sure you will be negative after 9 games.
So what the f*** is positive in being beaten by Villa and Leicester, struggling against lowly European sides, spending in excess of £400 m and no trophies in Ole’s tenure? You’re correct
, we will be negative again.I see us being knocked out of the CL and being humiliated by the Scousers and City if things continue as they are.

It is as expected, same problems as we've had so far, nothing new. Can't understand people being frustrated, we've been watching it in most of our games this season, were just lucky enough to somehow beat Villarreal and Wolves, if we didn't we'd be looking even worse in both competitons position wise.

Architects of own downfall in a team performance filled with passengers

All started to go south when 1-0 in front and switched off allowing Leicester level. Then when 2-2 with a decent chance of claiming at least a draw they go and concede a 3rd goal within 15 seconds!

The 4th goal a carbon copy of the 3rd goal conceded in the FA Cup tie v Leicester last season (not learning from mistakes at all)

Unbeaten away run over and one of footballs biggest mysteries will be how such a flaky group of United players actually went 29 away league games unbeaten.

This game is the clearest example yet that coaching is an issue.

Cant blame it all on Maguire, even though he was poor.
Correct. Clearly a gamble to play him which didn't work out. It was probably worth a shot though. However what you can blame though is failure to react if it is not working, and that didn't happen today.

The Ronaldo signing sealed Ole's faith. He doesn't have the courage to sub him. A coward of a manager that caters to names and mates. Mediocrity personified.

Doesn't have a style of play, self admitted he CAN'T COACH.

What are we even doing here? What is the point?

This is reminiscent of Jose's last season.

I don't know how anyone can't see it. Gonna be a long and depressing episode, we're gonna lose our stature even further, our players are gonna want out.

Back to square one.
And end of Moyes and LVG, almost like there's a pattern there... Maybe it's the players?

We were completely bossed in Midfield today, defence was non existent and attack will be nothing without the other two. We were chasing the ball for 80 mins of the game, that's embarrassing.

I completely forgot about this. Most pointless record since we won feck all during this run.
We love our pointless records. We had another long unbeaten run of some sort under Jose as well that was held up as some point of pride despite the fact that we were still dropping points left and right. Stupid stupid stupid. Always looking for something to praise besides the things that actually matter.

Suspect he was doing a parody of that other thread.

This is the start of the endgame of the Ole Gunnar Solskjaer regime. Bruno couldn’t bail him out this time and poetically with more individual brilliance added to the squad, they couldn’t do shit either.

Before this game, I was for replacing him at Xmas if we still looked mediocre by then.

Following this game, I am strongly for getting rid ASAP… for our benefit and his benefit. Solskjaer is going to be pulled apart limb from limb in the next round of fixtures if today is anything to go by and I do not want to see a legendary player get slaughtered so publicly as he possibly could be.

that performance was just like the one against everton, similarly disjointed, but this time the opposition took their chances. wtf have our management team been doing for the last fortnight

What’s that quote about the definition of insanity?

Out of ideas, out of luck, surely out of time now. Utterly unacceptable.

Went out at 1-1. Just got back and seen the final score, fuming. Just get out of our club Solskjaer, you are a joke.

Playing Pogba and Matic in CM was asking for it. Everything went through the middle. Play Matic and McTominay. Yes put Pogba on the bench or play him in Sancho's position. So many blinking players with no tackling ability.
Agree on this. Pogba cannot play in CM for United, how many times do we have to watch him be absolutely awful in that position. He either needs to play at LW or be back up to Bruno. Or we have to completely change the system.

Starting maguire today was shocking. He’s been poor this season and coming back from injury and ole thinks this is the game for him? What does it say to Bailey when you’d rather pick a half fit maguire over him.

I was done after Villarreal but today was it. Ole out. He’s done well to build a team but now it’s time to bring a proper head coach in. Get conte and be done with it. People say he’s too defensive but feck me at least wewill know what to expect.

Anyone blaming Maguire needs to look in the mirror, he was rushed back after 1 training session!

This is all on Ole now; no tactics, no direction, no coaching from the looks of it, and no plan. He's got to go!

The worst is that Leicester was awful as well.

We are so disjointed. I am sad to say it but the cycle is over for Ole. No one believes anymore, starting by the players.
We need someone who will instill proper patterns of play and structure in our play. We need it. We are in shambles since the season started.

I knew this was coming, and I'd rage if I watched the game. So I followed updates and continued reading Wheel of Time (Ole doesn't drive this one). Very pleased with my decision.

Happy for Rashford, but chuckled after they scored immediately.

Ole needs to go, and I think it would be an excellent call for me to not watch the next few games as well. Things are going to get ugly.
Common theme of the ones in red being diabolical.

Is it on Ole or on AWB and Maguire having mares?
We were never in that game. A couple of individual moments got us goals but otherwise we were passive and probably lucky that it was only 4.

The errors were criminal, but the overall play was worse which has to be in the manager.

The guy said it's a great time to be an attacker at United at the moment and that we're playing attacking football with all that United DNA .

If anyone thinks the guy is right for us, they're absolutely delusional or clueless.
