Quick question for anyone that goes to a lot of European aways, or knows how it works.

So at the minute Atalanta away is open for anyone with 6 credits or more, yesterday it was 7 credits or more and tomorrow they will open it for anyone with 5 credits or more.

Do they just keep going down day by day like that? So once they open it for 5, then the next day 4 and the next day 3 and so on?

Or do they get to a point where they say ok everyone with 5 and above had a chance and now we just open it for everyone else (4,3,2 &1) now for example?
Just picked up Atalanta away with 1 credit :D

Same but with 0 credits! I have been watching like a hawk over the last week. They let me buy before 11 as well so was nice and ready
Yeah. Was also on very early. Bit shit they do that though. We benefited of course but the should just stick to the time they say.

Few guys I know jumping up and down at the minute cos they waited until 11 and it looks like it was gone by then.

Absolutely agree but lucky we anticipated they would do that. I would be livid if I was one of your pals.
Haven't been to a euro away game since Munich in 2014 so should be a good crack.

Potential single spare for Liverpool (FV of course) - PM your mobile number if interested.

My mate has had a travel issue so looks unlikely to make it now. I should know for sure in the next 30 mins and will contact anyone who PMs on a first come, first served basis.

 I’ve swapped my Liverpool at the end for City but that was awful look even on the telly
Fingers crossed City isn't as painful as I hope to be there too.
But under Ole you can't see it.

Where's this from?!

Also, this will be my first European away game and I only managed to obtain one ticket. Is it going to be safe for me to go here alone?
I am also going on my own. Should be OK. It's a small satellite of Milan,a small compact place and the stadium is pretty close to the centre so you should be able to avoid any trouble! Make sure you have all you landing forms and covid stuff sorted for both journeys !

Stansted. Yeah you'll be fine mate, just tag onto a group of United fans in a bar if you're concerned when you're out there.

Where would be the best place to buy tickets for the Spurs game. I've two people from Europe who want to go and have impromptu asked me to source the tickets for them!

Is a site like ticketgum trustworthy/recommended?

I've used StubHub twice and it worked well both times.

If you don't mind sitting with the Home side, I bought my tickets directly off the Spurs site. It's similar to United's with the Lite memberships and all but at least there are bucketloads of tickets available.

I might be thinking too hard but surely with every match just set at 'register your interest' for a few days now, surely there's a ticket drop incoming??

Did anyone see Spurs away tickets come on sale in the last 30 mins?

I noticed the message for that game changed to say they had a small number of returns available to those who were unsuccessful in the original ballot. It now says sold out again. I was unsuccessful in the original ballot but never saw the BUY button come up so wondering if they're picking eligible members at random again like they did with the City home game. Annoying if so as I prefer my chances in the battle of persistence.

You'd think so, but it seems such a lotto, and you need to have the pure luck to be on anywhere from 7am to 7pm it seems.

Some games you at least have a 20-30min window, like Young Boys/midweeks, but I dare say if City drops it'll be say 100 tickets scattered around and pure lotto.

I saw the buy button come up but it said sold out as soon as I clicked it. They couldn't have been up for more than a couple of minutes.

You've got to just keep refreshing until the 'buy' button appears. Even if it says sold out, go back and keep refreshing.

I noticed the message changed at 10:07, a few refreshes later managed to get a 'buy' button. I then got a choice of about eight seats, everyone I clicked on it then said it wasn't available except the last one. Ticket purchased at 10:14.

So far this season, it's typically been at 1pm on the Tuesday before they go on sale so got quite lucky with this.

Was it 117 the returns flagged up in?

Oh yeah I refresh constantly so either I just missed the BUY button or they selected season ticket holders at random for it to appear for. Sounds like those 8 seats you saw might have been all of them and probably dozens of people at least trying to get them. As @JB7 says, they did a couple releases for Leicester on the week of the game so might still be a slim chance for those of us still looking and eligible.

Spurs away on website just grabbed one, go go
Feck, there's me taking my eye off the ball as I thought there couldn't be two releases in a day...the ticket office obviously make up their processes as they go along, just like most areas of the club. Out of interest, did you see many available when you bought?

There surely has to be a better way of releasing tickets to members for home games and season ticket holders for aways. I know people use alerts for the website page changing since United's alerts don't work for home games and they don't have them for away games. I tried using one but it was pinging all the time and I couldn't work out what was changing on the page. Can anyone recommend a good one even though you'll be helping the potential competition?

In the meantime my employers are losing some productivity from me while I have the page refreshing on my second screen when I can.

On the plus side they haven't removed the game from the website yet which gives me hope there will be more.

Yep, those alerts are pretty bloody random, and seem to include text hidden behind the info, rather than all we care about...BUY going red!
Hit and miss too, and it depends how red hot your phone is with instant email notifications too.
