It's the players. If only Ole got a DM this Summer. we'd be top of the League playing incredible football.

I think In most meetings he’s done a similar tactic but only leaving Rashford but all 4 is just juvenile.

Totally agree on the Fred McT part. They aren’t the best but are being hung out to dry as the issue. Constantly being pulled all over the place and Liverpool always with 3 or 4 extra men in midfield. It’s horrendous and I’m miffed that this keeps happening and has been for well over a season and isn’t being fixed.

I’m not even Ole out but I might be soon because I think your average CAF member could do better.
They are just easy targets, we have all these star names that need to be catered for. We were so lucky to have guys like Giggs and Beckham who were not just world class players but possessed team first mentalities and had no issues sacrificing for the good of the team. That is what Neville means when he talks about mentality, yes he should focus on the shit coaching as well, but the amount of times it breaks down and Bruno/Greenwood/Ronaldo and Rashford are just walking back is disgusting.

Liverpool have not even been that good.

Before the game, there was talk of us getting absolutely battered, but I thought to myself - no - it's Liverpool. A huge game. We'll put a performance in and even if we do lose, it'll be tight. We've looked shit before the game and vulnerable, but at Old Trafford, with the crowd behind us and with the history of this match, we'll pull together and put in a great shift.

4-0 down at half-time is a huge, fecking punch to the face, gut, and balls. We look like utter tw*ts. Look hugely out of our depth. This is a brand new low. I feel sick watching this.

There pissed and if the Board don't sack him today there is a problem. He's lost it lost the system lost the players. Everyone can see we haven't got a CM so play more in there keep the game tight no spaces he can't even get them to do that. CAVANI ON

Sacking Ole would justify the performance of the players by laying blame for a fabulously talented extravagantly paid squad refusing to stand up and be counted at the door of one man. It won’t happen.

The arrival of Ronaldo has definitely tightened the rope for him, ironically while also making it harder for him to get the team pressing and running how he would like.

A pretty galling half of football.

Absolute disaster out there, I'm not surprised though and Liverpool haven't had to do anything special. Shaw and Maguire can feck right off

Shaw sucked in to the center for all 4 goals.
He's having the exact same game he had for the Spurs 1-6 game. The exact fecking same. How does he not fecking learn?

Liverpool are doing us a favour to be honest
Sad but true. A part of me thought Klopp would be cynical by going easy on us so that we keep a horribly out of his depth manager around. Clinically dismantling us like this leaves the deluded fans, ex players and club insiders with no leg to stand on.

This type of battering has been a long time coming. The performances have been sloppy and disjointed for the best part of a year. We’ve been saved far too many times by individual quality.

The worst thing is Liverpool haven't even gotten out of 2nd gear, it's like A training ground game for them.

Wow, first positive post i've seen here. Kudos to you for sticking to your belief even though I think you're severely misguided.
Thanks man. Honestly, sticking with Ole might get you an accusation of being a closeted scouser and a ban today *laughing nervously

But seriously, top teams are capable of doing great damage and Liverpool is there at the moment. It was a lot easier for Klopp to awaken that team from one bad season than it is for Ole to build a winning team, not from scratch, but from a lot of un-loadable deadwood that held us back as a club. Lot of high paying unwarranted contracts handed out...

Overall we have improved under him and we need to keep it up. One game won't make a season.

This, in my opinion, is where it's obvious to see this is a coaching issue.

Players just chasing after a ball indicates there's no plan. We're pathetic. :(
Its worse than that. This is the plan.

Ole could have said to the team: 'When they have the ball lets drop in, two compact lines, no space.'

The players doing this shows they've been told to do it, and the fact they're not doing it well shows the lack of belief in the approach.

I thought Ole would revert to Mourinho lite tactics after Everton. I was wrong. He's writing his own obituary with how we're approaching games. Embarrassing.

I honestly think he'll limp on a little while longer and its ridiculous at this point.
It was a hammering by Liverpool they done for Moyes, another hammering by City did for Jose, now another hammering by Liverpool will see the back of Ole.

Getting battered by your rivals is the one thing the board refuse to stand for, and this may be the worst we've ever played against Liverpool.

How can the board justify not sacking him after this?

If Sir Alex were in the dressing room, every single arse would be getting pulled up over every single head. ...

    ....metaphorically speaking
