It’s quite ridiculous how poor the tackling physics still are in terms of the player just stands and blocks you/bumps into you getting nowhere near the ball causing your controller to vibrate and yet it is no foul.
Passing for me is slowly killing any motivation I have to play the game but this is a close 2nd. Love it when you put in a perfectly good tackle only for it to fall straight back to the opponents feet multiple times and the they get to the edge of the D and bang in a finesse from 30 yards out as my keeper just stands there back turned to the shot, so much fun.
I've got van Dijk and could probably stretch to afford Varane soon. Is he worth fecking 300k? I'm currently using van Dijk and IF Romero, who are both brilliant. I don't suppose Varane would be worth 280k more than Romero but interested to hear your thoughts.
Yeah, my players spend about half of the match feckin breakdancing. It's like watching that bomfunk MC's, freestyler video.
If you're running a full prem team then probably not - a big part of Varane's inflated price is his easy links to other meta players (e.g. Theo Hernandez, Mbappe, Fekir, etc.)
Have IF Romero red as well, but have never used him. Varane is massive for me, not as good as van Dijk though but 300k is a huge sum. However no attacker scares me anymore.

Kante is amazing in this game he just intercepts everything. No idea how he's programmed or whatever but it's ridiculous how he gets his body in the way of everything.

As good as Varane-Van Dijk is at the back.. I have played with Mbappe/Cruyff loan nearly every match and I'm currently 9-0 in FUT Champs. Star attackers make a huge huge different and I should sit on roughly 600k at least if I sell Varane and use IF romero or Gomez.

Won 4 games in play offs yesterday but ended up quitting the last two games as I knew I’d be too drunk to play champions if I qualified. 
I am on pc so old gen. Bernardo is good but nothing special compared to foden tbh. Will probably get plus 2 upgrade so not bad value.

Damn really? For me he’s been phenomenal. Outside of Messi he’s the best card I’ve used for left stick dribbling he can literally turn circles around players.
Value for coins he’s probably going to be up there for the entire year IMO. More than likely a guaranteed 90 rated with fantastic stats for this point of the game.

Bit late now but why wouldn’t you save your TOTW pack?
Myself got Ginter and Chillwell as reds and in the 100k got Tadic….. do like how chill WL has become but doesn’t change the fact that playing for rewards is still not worth the time/effort.
Going to need the fut champs premium SBC soon though with a higher rating minimum then last year. Like the best TOTW this week is Firmino at like 36k. Read they’re bringing out a TOTW sbc soon too, what’s the point? Unless it’s like 80 rated with a 82+ minimum then I doubt anyone would do it.

I thought the TOTW pack only contained players from the current TOTW when it was when earned. So if I did save it for next TOTW I would only get this weeks TOTW players.

He is worth 120k on the market. He only cost me about 45k because I had a lot of untradeable cards to use in the SBC.

I love Foden, he is faster than most midfielders, has a good dribble and can score. Bruno is there because I don't want a second midfielder who's useless on the ball and didnt like de Bruyne but I must admit that playing with 2 CAM's as CDM's is a bit extreme.Impressive feat with that midfield. I have my backs on staying back, and Bruno as well. Foden on balanced attack.
Kante or the Fred card is probably the next upgrade, or I should look at icons. Kante is way beyond my budget for now unfortunately.
