Looking for the answers...
If Ole survives this, then this club is hopeless, and I should stop caring about the results as the club itself doesn't fecking care.
He simply can’t survive this surely?? I just can’t see any positives in him staying at this point.

5 goals down (could easily be 7) and a man down when it could easily have been 2 with Ronaldo v.lucky.

No idea, defensive is tumescent and every fan should now be calling for his head.

Strip Maguire of the captaincy too whilst we’re at it.

Hurting managers just want to turn things around.
Can’t see it with Ole. Not this against Liverpool. It’s who it’s against that will fast forward his resignation. Fans leaving at OT is the exclamation point

Sacked in the morning.

I can't imagine this type of tomfoolery continuing without taking a continuous hit in Glazers' pockets. Sad that I have to look at it this way but it's what they care about.

Unfortunately Ole wouldn’t get sacked, he needs to leave gracefully

What the Ole cult doesn't understand is that the right thing, for Ole, is to sack him ("mutual consent")

Lampard was sacked before fans who idolized him had to turn on him. He didn't have to be dragged through the mud, humiliated, and hit rock bottom before he was relieved of his duties. Their owner and board saw the signs and trend clearly, and they saw them early(ish), and acted. Our board chooses to wait till almost every single fan is against the manager and want him gone. Because of Ole's status at the club, that's taking pretty long here and the sack wasn't going to happen till it got really ugly.

The writing has been on the wall for a long time and the right thing to do has been clear for a while. Let him go with a nice pay off before it gets even uglier. We already have people on here rewriting his history as a player ffs.

Where are all these people who called me stupid and not a supporter because I said it will be OK to lose to atalanta if it meant that Ole would leave? Well, I just wanted to avoid today's humiliation. Jokes on you because if you support Ole you want United to get spanked by everyone.

I've always been Ole's biggest supporter. But some of his team choices and tactics are bizarre. I could use other words. And his man management which started with so much promise has deteriorated. Why bring on Dalot - why not DVB?? Is keeping the deficit at 5 more important than trying to claw some back? Is he afraid that DVB might show him up by doing something good?
In a match where you are losing 5-0, in game subs are the least of our worries, mate.

He lost this match on Thursday during the tactical prep along with the team briefings. I was also a big Ole supporter, and I feel your pain.

He might want to be put out of his misery after this, and might be a case of genuine mutual consent rather than just a softer way of saying manager was sacked.

Ole wouldn't have been sacked if we lost to them, anyway. I think he would have gotten this game. We'd have lost this and then he'd be out.

This is a new low. Gloating during the doom and gloom.

Equal at least,
Moyes had us losing 3-0 to both Liverpool and City over a week, and be lucky to take 3-0s!

Always looked very likely Ole would go the same way, but surely he has to go earlier now.
Moyes didn’t spend £450m

Surely if United sack Ole before the City match, City can complain and say it’s given Liverpool and unfair advantage in the title race

Hoping to lose is never an option mate. I empathize with you, but we all want Utd to win. There is a scenario where we are much worse after Ole is sacked.

He will survive this. Believe it or not. Because we are that kind of club.
Yup. He should be sacked tomorrow. Given irs us, it'll be a slow and painful process where there will be more recoveries and disappointments before we are forced to get rid.

If he survives this then serious questions have to be asked about the route our club is taking from an on field perspective.

Can't blame him for that. It's damage limitation at this point. This game had the potential to get worse.

There is zero chance we are coming back from 5-0
