That he is still manager, twenty minutes after this humiliation, tells us a lot about the circus that this club has become under the Glazer kids and their flunkey. This nonsense should have ended just a minute after full time. Disgusting state of affairs.
I mean don’t be silly now. He needs to go but don’t be silly.

FERGIE WAS A LEGEND MAN MANAGER but a RUBBISH TACTICIAN, TACTICIAN. HE WAS A WINNER MANAGER BUT TACTICS WEAK, WEAK. THAT IS WHY HE HAD A COACHING STAFF, TACTICS.

OLE can do THE SAME. A LEGEND MANMANAGER WEAK TACTICS, LEGEND PLAYER AND ONE OF US (LEGENDS). HE AND THE COACHES DO NOT SLEEP TO HELP THE TEAM, WORK ALL THE TIME, THEIR WIVES ARE VERY UNHAPPY WITH THIS, THATS HOW important. LEGEND .
What the hell are you talking about? You're talking about a man who took on Celtic and Rangers with Aberdeen and won. He beat Real Madrid with Aberdeen. To say he had no tactics is a mental statement to make.

This Tweet sums it up for me. It's not about putting all the blame on Ole or anything like that. It's the fecking club. They constantly feck it all up while missing out on the best. One time they had a plan by bringing in Ole as an interim while they looked for a long-term plan, and they fecked it all off because they got caught up in all the emotion. It's all emotion and PR with these cnuts

Conte is better than all but 2 of those managers and I’d have Zidane there as well.
It’s nonsense.

I think his biggest drawback is lack of self reflection.

His reign will start to look worse and worse I suspect, looking back. Now that the false dawns have drawn to a close we are left with the obvious collection of individuals we have had throughout. Handful of great performances.
he said before the match that he thought the lads did well against atalanta- that for me was just another indication he's not a good manager.

Never changes anything.

You can be sure the same team will be played next match

There were people actually thinking he deserved to stay till the end of the season STILL before this match?

After how we've performed this season? After 0 trophies in 3 seasons? After 0 credentials?

Jeez

lads remember there is a human behind this and a club legend at that

He's out of his depth as manager however its not a reason to direct hate and vitriol at him personally.
It's always about the club and the people at the top. It's not his fault, really. He shouldn't be in this position, to begin with. They're not doing him any favours at this point. It's not his fault he's not good enough. It's their fault for not being able to recognise it.

That's me done. He has to go.

Question is whether it's now or the end of the season. If we want Zidane then I'd go for it now but if Ten Hag is the guy then he won't be leaving until the summer.

Some say that he still needs time. Bloody fecking hell, this is unbelievable.
Season is young, we can still do a lot this year. Just we need to sack him tomorrow and that is it.
Complete farce since day one.
Oh yes, when he was hired many said ; "Ole loves the club. He will resign". If this is not for resigning, what is?

Well I thought it won't happen for another month or so but after today, there shouldn't be a way back.

It's kinda sad as he was doing an okay job until this season. If club sacked him back then, they would have to pay him less as his contract was running down in 2022, but they never looked at all those worrying signs, especially towards the end of the season, and it came back to hurt us 5 months later. Sad for us but deserved and it shows the lack of football knowledge of our board, they couldn't see what we as fans could.

Thank you Liverpool, this should speed things up.

It's not bloody nonsense though is it. The main point is spot on. We have people at the top who constantly miss out on the best appointments, and then it's too late. Yes, Conte is better than Ole. But we shouldn't be in this position in the first place. That's the point.

Please resign.

The club won’t sack him but he has to go. This is one of the worse days in United history and it’d been coming all season.

OK, I'm old so I don't get it
Ha. No worries mate. I am not young enough to find that original post in a few seconds to quote here.

I was making fun of someone on here who said SAF was a bad tactician.

It is nonsense since they’re not the only candidates as it’s made out in that tweet. Who was mentioning Tuchel as a generational, transformative manager when he left PSG?
It’s bad enough as it is, no need to pile on with extra nonsense

I envy United's squad. They really assembled a powerful team and had them down as title challengers at the start of the season.

It's hard to believe how bad the management has been.

Remember when people said that every rival fan laughs at United and some people would argue against that

I’ve supported and defended him for a long time. I always believed he needed a couple of transfer windows and now he’s got that. He signed the players he wanted (ok, still needs a defensive midfielder but we shouldn’t be that bad without one!).

today was terrible. This season has been terrible. I wanted him to succeed and stuck by him. But at this stage, he has to go. Players are to blame too, but he’s got to go

I can't believe there's even a possibility of seeing him managing us next game ? Please, inject some positivity in my veins with a new figure against Spurs next week.

I can't fecking take this anymore.

The club wont sack him. They will wait to expose him even more, until they have to. That is how we operate. Ole needs to resign.

I think there is a bigger chance he will resign than we sack him before it's mathematically impossible to get top 4 and once we are top4. You know that chance is very very slim.

Poor days, months years for United, it's been shite football with the lack of basic knowledge like pressing for 10 years. At least Fergie had that aura around him and could manage players to get the best out of them but more and more young managers adapt to the more progressive styles, which will inevitably win more and more games against the dinosaur tactics from Mourinho, Bruce, Solskjaer and many others. Now it is way more pragmatic than parking the bus and let your best players win it for you.

Makes you wonder Ole hasn't done anything about it and threw his only chance to maintain his status of a legend here by winning some trophies by just learning some basic coaching skills, instead we are stuck with him, Carrick and McKenna, Phelan, the four amigos out of their depth clutching at straws doing little to serve this club as best as they can, or maybe they try but they are way out of depth. I will still respect Ole but he has to be sacked now, not at the end of the season.
