I'm sick because I don't think they will sack him, so he survives even this. And if he was the club legend we say he is he should honor the club and resign but I don't think he has it in him to do that. Its not the results and performances that are going to damage him now. It's that he will carry on when it's obvious he is way out of his depth.

Gary is getting really defensive on Sky Sports. I don't know why. The coaches deserve to be questioned based on what we're seeing every week.

He has to go now whether that's his decision or the club's. I wanted him to succeed so much but it's obviously not working.

After the City game I reckon. He should go this week but realistically the club won't act that fast, and the international break after City gives the board an opportunity to get their shit together.

If a 5-0 defeat vs Liverpool at OT doesn't warrabt you to be sacked then nothing ever will. Keeping him after tonight will make him even more complacent and care free, he'd know he is safe from any bad results.

Can't agree with that. Ole is sinking here, along with the players. Any change will be good now, even if temporarily. Ole will lose the players soon and we won't make top 4.
I just worry that we'll sink even quicker with a caretaker manager and possibly end up in the relegation zone. As bad as it is now, I can't see that happening under Ole, after all we finished 2nd last season. The rest of this season should be about damage limitation until we can get a proper manager.

He loves the club but he's in self preservation mode now, dignity out the window, sad to see...

I like how United is spending a small country's GDP trying to prove that given enough time and money, a mediocre manager can become SAF.

Do they secretly hate the best manager they've ever had that they're humiliating him this way?

If the Glazers don't sack him then their business model is there for all to see. A marketing circus not a football club.

I think he's already lost the players , Foxes away was dreadful , then lose Varane that's not made it better, lidelof comes in and he's thinking I'm a stop gap here , players are not playing for the club just themselves.

This is all down to the owners, they have no clue about football and as such we get landed with Ole. Hes done fantastic work getting rid of the deadwood and bringing in quality replacements but we need someone with more drive and passion with tactical knowledge to push us forward. Change needs to happen now rather than in 10 games time when the whole squad is fighting against each other and clambering out the exit.

Looks very inevitable now. Fixtures are getting even tougher from now on. I don’t think he has any excuses for this show. Only Important player missing is Varane so he has full squad.
He is not sure what his best lineup is nor his best formation is. This is really infuriating considering he had season or two fully backed in transfer season.
But we have to be careful here , we have to get right manager as next who can use squad properly. I think board will wait for few more matches while working in background for replacement.

Yep that could be it, big week for the players now wait for the fecking tweets oh sorry this that . Feck your apologies nobody wants them. The players that played today should give along with the staff there wages to a charity, because they treated this game like it was a charity.

Any rumours? That he’s either under pressure or has the backing?

Neville thinks he’s safe until the end of the season

If Ole is not sacked he must bring in new coaches. Need a defensive specialist and a tactical specialist minimum. Demote Carrick and McKenna to cone duty.

I want him sacked - but I don’t think he will.
I think the board will stupidly give him until December - to which the season will be not be salvageable unfortunately.

Thought for a second that Ole would just resign. Ah well.

Best case scenario is after this run of fixtures until the international break. Replace Ole then and hope we didn't fall too far.

Get the City game out of the way first. No point throwing a new manager in the deep end.
Doesn't make sense. The new manager has nothing to lose - if he loses, well, it's early days. If he gets a draw or even a win, it is very positive. No need trying to keep something alive that is dead.

Rodgers got that in his last season at Liverpool with Gary McAllister and Sean O’Driscoll. It meant feck all as they had a bad start and all got sacked after 10 weeks, and then they got Klopp.

Its a fruitless exercise that just prolongs the inevitable.

The club wont react. The season is gone as they will give him time to reach top 4. That is our standard
We won't get top 4 this season or anything close at this rate. By the start of December I doubt we'll be top half.

I stayed til 80 minutes, didn’t boo at half time and was in the Nou camp when he scored the goal. Love the man but please Ole - do the right thing mate - go, now.

I'm actually scared they won't sack him. Just feel G Nev is somewhat in the know and this tripe he peddles about having the whole season is what we will get. .

He needs to go now. Absolutely deluded in his post match saying we are so close... So close to what!

At this stage it's the support of the match going fans that's going to allow him to limp on and destroy another season for us

I say this as a match going season ticket holder. At some point, supporting the club is more important than supporting a man.
