Oh no, i was saying its as bad a performance as has EVER been seen at old Trafford. To have a net negative impact and let down your teammates when they needed help and composure is as bad as it gets. So if you want to spend your evening arguing 'but but what about maguire' have at it. But you're arguing about types of shit as if it means something.
I have seen worse personally, either today or in other games.

True but only happens because Fred and McTominay had the ball in better positions but both shat themselves and ended up passing to Pogba who was already being marked. Either Fred or Scott could've done better but passed it to a player who couldn't take a touch with 2 Liverpool players right on top of him.
He could have taken a touch. Maybe even two. He tried to take more than that though and had his pocket picked in a dangerous area. Which happens all the time. He’s a liability. The red card was just the cherry on a shit cake.

Don’t think I’ve ever disliked one of our players as much as this liability. Can’t wait till he’s gone.

The worse thing about Pogba is that he is actually good enough to be here yet he just doesn't give two craps as usual and never has.

Ole for his many faults is giving his all. His all is just not good enough clearly.

I will always stand by someone who gives their all but ultimately isn't good enough over somebody who we all know has ability but had the worst attitude I have ever known at this football club.

Get rid. He will never ever work at this club no matter who the manager is. It's part of his make up. He just doesn't want to work hard.

He didn't have much time at all, and he makes himself an easy target to press because people know he likes to take his time on the ball.

I don't think today he was great in that moment, but it wasn't the worst he's done. Hardly a good thing though.

Well, yeah. A hell of a flaw for someone with aspirations of playing in central midfield.

Three match ban and will come back to the tightrope of four yellows before another ban!

I defend Pogba a lot, but that was a dumb red card. Essentially fell asleep on a short corner move when 0-5 down, then lunged in with little to gain.

Someone was bound to get a red this match. You could see it with Ronaldo, Fred and Bruno. The players were truly frustrated.

As for Pogba, I'm pretty indifferent to him staying or leaving the club. It all depends on the manager I suppose. But I don't think he'll ever be a consistent, motivated player. But someone like Zidane would definitely get a tune out of him. So.. yeah, indifferent.

He got sent off because he was over eager. That's it.
No, that type of tackle from him we’ve seen at least 4 times this season already, usually after he miss controlled a ball. I said he would get sent off for it some day. Coaches should be working on eradicating that from his game as it’s a habit

Not the result but it’s pretty clear he’s as much a part of the problem as the solution. It’s been clear to me for years that we needed to start working towards a pressing style of play that’s greater than the sun of its parts. We can’t afford to have a hot and cold Pogba jerking between overly languid and these bizarre brain fart challenges. He’s not a pressing player. He’s not the leader this team needs, the leader his billing for France suggests. He’s never really been into it for longer than a month or two at a time and PR aside surely that has to rub off on players around him. I don’t think he knows himself what he wants at club level. I’m sure he knows his performances have been erratic to put it mildly. Leicester, Villa and this were absolutely half arsed.
yeah and that's why we brought Ronaldo and Sancho, keep extending contracts to Mata, Matic, play McTominay. Pogba is a top player played in an advanced role, don't remember when he actually let us down playing as a LAM, most of the time was rather close to MOTM if not the best, it's that he's shoehorned to other positioned because he's so talented he can do the job there. but yeah he's inconsistent.

Anyway don't wanna start any covnersation as the point is that quite clearly it's stupid to call him out after this game, he's got things to offer and sending him on the pitch 4:0 down is throwing him under the bus, as well as asking him to play deeper in high pressing games. Yes he's got a slightly differet profile than some of the players we should be aiming at but is it his fault we play like shit last 10 years, feck me, of course it is. He's to blame for all our misery.

Him and Rashfordcarried us through last few seasons in many moments despite being part of very poorly coached teams and with really low quality of players around them. They deserve some respect, not to be blamed for our again long lasting misery.

The usual Pogba game, dithering error in midfield leading to a goal and then brainless play. World cup winning level cameo.

The sooner we get rid of this clown the better.

Why does he wear a basketball sleeve and have such a bullshit wind up PSG haircut?

Looked like he wanted to get sent off the stupid wanker.

Not just that, I said a few weeks ago it’s shocking that he doesn’t get more red cards. He has an awful habit of going in over the ball to try and control it. If he’s slightly off he goes down the opposition players leg and it’s a red.

Putting in only a handful of good performances a season doesn't make you a top or world class player.
Spending most of your playing time, over a whole season, just jogging around at a snails pace and flitting in and out of games, doesn't make you a top or world class player.
Being caught in possession and being pickpocketed on a regular basis, season after season, doesn't make you a top or world class player.
Being completely consistent, in being chronically inconsistent...season after season, doesn't make you a top or world class player.
Having absolutely no defensive ability or attributes when playing in central midfield, doesn't make you a top or world class player.
Having the agility and short distance pace of a lanky, gangly giraffe wearing concrete boots, doesn't make you a top or world class player.
Having a half-assed attitude, when you are paid millions of £££'s a year to do a job, doesn't make you a top or world class player.

Pogba is in his 6th season at Utd.
That's the vast majority of his senior playing career to date.
He's had some spectacular games and been brilliant on many occasions, but when you add it all up, that only accounts for less than probably 10% of his playing time, at best.
He's had one really productive season out of six.
Pogba has some excellent talents, most notably his top class ability to read the play and rapidly spot and deliver an accurate pass, but that isn't enough.
Top or world class players have to deliver a lot more than that.

He's 29 in a few months time and realistically, Pogba isn't going to improve or change at this stage of his career.
His days of player development are long gone.
Put in better and some great appearances in the future?.....most probably, but how often?
Frankly, it's too late to see him transform into a different player.
Overall he's not provided the quality that we expected from him and is more often than not, a serious liability.

I find it baffling that Utd are trying to persuade him to sign a new contract, on terms that would only be given to the very best, world class players.
What do they expect they'll get for the money, other than more of the same?

Brought on to prove you're worthy of your managers trust.

Dwadle on the ball, lose it, leading directly to Liverpool scoring.

Then fall asleep, ball watching after a corner, dive into a tackle as a result and end up getting sent off.

Yeah, let's give him £450k a week.

But, he's good for France, or something.

Don't ever want to see him in a United shirt again.

Stick him in the reserves then sell him in January.

With that red card goes all the chances for Ole to save his job. Any midfield 3 without him in it will end in tears for us and a midfield 3 with him in it was our only hope. Whatever system we're playing now isnt working and we all know that. We've conceded 6 goals in 2 games with him off the pitch so clearly he isnt the problem.

Our players in the middle of the park really fear the ball and that must change soon.

Who the hell is going to want to buy him in January when they can get him for free in June? Makes no sense.

To help you make sense of it, Real Madrid offered PSG 200m for a player out of contract in a year after a whole sad show about how they were out of money. Nothing needs to make sense anymore.

This is true. But that was an “I don’t give feck” two-footer of a tackle. Coward’s way out after gifting them a goal.

Sick of him at this point. And I have long supported him even in the dark Mou days.

No. It's because he has no intention of extending his contract with us, therefore we shouldn't be investing any more time in him. Pretty obvious.
Pretty sure if things change here he'd sign. He's still under contract, we pay him alot of money so he can play if we want him to. He doesn't lack commitment but like everyone else he's playing in a clueless regime.

Sit him for the "safe" option in McFred and then bring him on to try to salvage something two games in a row. Safe to say he's over it judging by today's performance. Not that I'm excusing it. It just seemed obvious that he wasn't interested.

Meh.

Some people got what they wanted with him not featuring in our next 3 games now. Our defending is still awful even without Pogba despite what some people thought.

He was going to get sent off at some point with his awful lunging.

Its daft to see people act like a player who came on at half time was the reason we got done 5 nil.

It's even worse seeing a master of the wild and stupid tackle claim "he should never play for the club again, he disrespected team mates and the manager". Yet the one talking got sent off in even more daft fashion in games were it actually directly cost us matches.

Worst is seeing this attempted pile on on a player who got sent off at 5 nil down. Yet our club captain just put in a worse performance that. William Prunier vs a direct rival. So did 3 of his back 4 team mates. Plus Bruno our other best player was so bad he do contributed to Pogba being sent off with a hapless pass. Personally I know who the real cowards are. Everyone going for the lowest hanging fruit.

People are going for more than just Pogba.

My issue is that he's made that same kind of tackle two or three times already this season and has been lucky not to have got a red card before Liverpool. It's idiotic.

I agree it idiotic. Its something he must improve. But all this shit of he should never play again , he disrespected team mates and coach just because it happened yesterday, its dung fresh from an elephant's behind on a hot savannah day. Still hot and steaming....

Is anything I said untrue? Ole clearly out of his depth but you can't say he doesn't care or isn't trying. He is,he's just not good enough.

Can you honestly say Pogba gives his all for this club? He hardly ever does.

To me that's worse. He's a cancer that needs to go. He won't be any different under another coach.

Notwithstanding his unforgivable sending off I'm more pissed off at him being caught in possession again.

I'm not going to be sorry when he leaves.
He's been a big disappointment

Did annoy me that a large portion of the crowd - including plenty around me - applauded him off the pitch. The feck are we congratulating him on? Stupidity?

However he did indrectly keep the score down by getting sent off, so thats something I guess.

There were 2 men on him and no passing options/lines. The possession lost was on halfway and there should have been plenty of cover before a goal was scored. This was a collective issue.
