Rodgers is waiting for an Arsenal or United to become available, then he'd dump Leicester. He's as unconvincing as his Liverpool and Leicester sides and his ego is bigger than his skillset. I'd hate if we hired him.
He's a good but very limited manager. Not the man to bring silverware back.

This is feeling a lot like Chelsea last season, although their owners and board actually want to win things unlike ours. Lampard was averaging 1.53 ppg when he got sacked. He was 11 points off top in 9th. Ole currently has 1.55 ppg and sits 8 points off top in 7th.

Surprisingly Jose had the exact 1.53 ppg with same amount of games played that Lampard had when he was sacked. Ole is certainly circling the drain and I feel by the next international break he will be doing worse than both of them.

Ole since being made permanent P145 W76 D33 L36. Jose P144 W84 D32 L28 and won two trophies. This was the toxic and passed it Jose and he was still doing a better job Ole and still got sacked... Ole is on borrowed time.

No way do we sack him, we have to put the message out that we are totally behind Ole come hell or high water.
We are Man Utd and we need to stand by our man.
how anyone can watch the team put up that performance and still hope that we stick with Ole is beyond me, I'm beginning to think the Ole in are Anti Manutd Fans.

They support the manager, then the club. Because of Fergie, they cant adjust to it if a manager is out of depth. It is not going into their mind to be against the manager, because Fergie could always turn it around. United fans and their relationship to managers since Fergie retired is unique and weird. We dont function and act like a big club, as you can see week in week out, for years now.

Keep in mind that very recently, we all went to bed thinking Ronaldo was joining Manchester City. The next day, after a couple of phone calls, he was our player. The truth is nobody knows what the feck they're doing right now for definite, but if they do decide that Ole's time is up, then there's no reason why we shouldn't hear about it by the end of tomorrow.

i’ll be amazed if he lasts past the city game.

I can see us losing against both them and city. I have a feeling it’ll get pretty hostile at OT if we put up another stinker of a performance.

He’s lucky they bailed him out against Atlanta also.

It is already embarrassing that he is still the manager. Every minute that passes as him as still being the manager adds to the embarrassment.

It is obvious that players don't respect him. You don't put performances like that for a manager you are ready to die for.

Ole - please leave yourself and save some legacy that is left .

Everyone saying they'd be amazed if he lasst past the City game or whatever. I'd be amazed if he makes it to the spurs match. They should be looking for a replacement right now.

Even Neville conceded that, when he said at any other club he'd be in trouble tonight.
Yeah it's funny, because Neville also has said before that we're not a very well run club... So surely if we're the only club that would entertain this, then it's a pretty fecking dumb move.

And of course he windbreaker entertain it at his own club either

What's he still doing here?

This wouldn't fly anywhere else
It is madness. Chelsea acted like a big club with ambition and sacked Lampard when it wasn’t working.

Our rivals are praying we don’t sack Ole. We need to put the club first and save our season. The poor man is at breaking point.

It was excruciating seeing Souness and Carragher making elementary points which he refused to understand.

Roman Abramovich is a football fan, the people in charge of our club don't even know who Liverpool are, let alone know what's going on here. All the Glazers care about is their dividends and when that dries up they'll just sell the club.

Time's up. Even if you completely disregard all other factors, losing 0-5 at home to Liverpool is grounds for a sacking in and of itself. Don't care if he took the job yesterday.

that’s the sad part. The glazers get over again, again, and again. The fake promises, the PR spins, and the robotic responses are absent of soul. Glazers just want to be talked about, make a buck, and laugh at the fans

I does not make sense for him to continue. I would not be surprised if he is gone by the weekend. Even if we win, it sadly does not matter in the long run for him as a manager.

Neville and Robson's comments after the game are a total embarrassment watching and reading them again.

Still both droning on about the club being 'stable' and not going back to hiring Mourinho and LVGs. 'Give Ole time to change the system'. 'Change the players'. Neville thinks Ole can't even hire a new assistant coach because it would send the wrong message or whatever. Verging from delusional to deranged.

The Class of 92 + Roy Keane should recuse themselves from commenting about Ole. Its clear they can't give critical assessments.

Neville needs to watch that post game discussion back, or someone needs to force him to watch it back. And hopefully he realises what a monumental idiot he sounds. Having two ex-Liverpool players taking the piss out of him, but also genuinely looking like they care more about United's future than he does.

I doubt Ole'll get fired, at least not until new year..

I think the club / exec is looking recent slump as a temporary dip and will no doubt bounce back like last year.
They'll save $$$ for not firing managers, coaches and what not.

But us, man utd and football fans, just couldn't stand poor performance week after week.
Even when we were winning it was so unconvincing.

As much as I like Ole, it's time for him to go.

 Why? Have we married Ole or something? Is there some sadistic pleasure we get out of harming ourselves?

Opposition fans changing for him to stay. That says it all about his quality to manage this football club.

Im amazed you guys expect him to be sacked. Hes not getting sacked until at least Christmas unless we literally start losing every single game. We'll grind enough jammy wins and draws over the next 6 weeks so save ole until then. There's nothing to suggest the axe is coming right now

Don't see a way out for Ole now. The supporters have lost faith in him. He is still a Utd legend but is a bollox coach. Time to bring in a pro and salvage something this season

Carragher saying to neville "so man utd shouldn't hire the best managers in the world because mourinho failed?". That bought it home for me. Nevilles idiotic stance of "well lvg and mourinho failed" is beyond laughable.

The answer to that, and the reason he has been given so much time is because of who he is...
- He is the person who scored the winning goal in a Champions League Final, that sealed the most difficult Treble there is to win in English club football, the likes of which had never been achieved by any English team before, and nor has it been achieved by any English team since.

Ole Gunnar Solskjær the player is responsible for the greatest achievement in English football at club level.

Ole Gunnar Solskjær the manager on the other hand...

Impressive, that's considering Mourinho had the whole squad turned against him.

The thing about us being better under Ole is just positivism in our heads. Results and performances wise we are much worse.
