Spurs and Atalanta would usually be bread and butter games for us with City being the real test. However, under Ole I wouldn't be surprised if we lost to Spurs and Atalanta but beat City and that's part of the problem.

The first clip is shameful. Fine for a brief boo at this stage where we're at to show discontent. But verbal abuse can feck right off. Alas every club will have their section of fans going over the top.

Fine with people walking out, that's a peaceful way of showing it's not good.
If anything gets on my nerves its posts like this, the honour and politeness police.
Why oh why do we need to surpress what we feel or react to whats so obvious and outrageous only to appear polite?

Like I get more broadly its a British thing culturally but who else does that? Even other British clubs dont do it anymore.

We should be furious shouting from the rooftops. This is absolutely inexcusable.

I think a season or two ago that would have been true, but his lucks well and truly run out now. I fully expect a spanking from City, as well as dropping points against the other two. We're in Moyes rock bottom territory now, amazing if the club feels this is sustainable.

If Liverpool hit that defense for 5, I can only imagine City running circles around Maguire. There's not enough spirit left in the supporters for another ass whopping within a two week time period.

Ole is setting his sights on the next 3 games

Looks like he is staying. Amazing.
God forbid he flukes a win in those 3 games and we are back on this fking merry-go-round of mediocrity. Pathetic management. Seems like anyone can be manager of Manchester United if these are the standards (read: no standards) we are willing to die by. Hope player pressure hounds him out of the club. The only way he is leaving with the nepotism and nostalgia armor he has.

Can't help but feel sorry for Ole, he's never going to fall on his own sword and the Glazer's aren't doing the obvious thing. I fear it's going to get more and more toxic and he doesn't deserve the abuse.
Don’t feel too sorry for him ….he’s one of the highest paid managers in world football

If anything gets on my nerves, it's posts like yours. I never said we can't be impolite - I said we're fine to boo FFS. But you don't abuse players. There's a line, and if you think you're polite just because you're not verbally abusing your own players then you probably need to get yourself checked.

How he is seemingly being given the opportunity to redeem himself in these next 3 games is pretty sickening.

Just walk for feck sake.

To be honest think everyone would take the flukes at the moment. Means we won 3 big games. It's in everyone benefit that we turn it around asap.

I'm assuming you the type get him out at all costs don't care if we get hammered more

Maybe the last two seasons I'd agree with that but after losing 5-0 at home to Liverpool I don't think we can talk about the cliche of Ole being good in the bigger games and getting a win when he really needs it.

I fully expect another hammering vs City.

That’s what happen when you allow newbies to vote.

@Raoul as the poll creator, can you see who voted even if it’s not visible? Can the non-Utd fans at least be removed?
Those that wanted him to stay seemed to appear after the CL win at mid week. There are also a number of Norwegian posters who don’t want him to go.

Looking over my shoulder.
I’m closer to the Ole out camp, which I hate to admit. However, looking at the atrocious display against Liverpool, it’s not just on Ole. Shaw made four mistakes that led to four goals, of which Maguire was also partially to blame. Before their first goal, Bruno should have buries his chance. A chance that was the result of high press and incisive passing.

We were terrible, but that was in great part to a terrible defence made up of individual mistakes. Time to bench Maguire and Shaw?

Not me, but I happen to know quite a few so I’m not surprised.

Been a member here for nearly ten years and have always just lurked and read, but yesterday was too much for me.

My thoughts aren’t massively unique; I wasn’t impressed when we decided we had to offer him the permanent job after the PSG game (we were never in danger of having him poached away from us), and I appreciate that he’s corrected the course of an otherwise sinking ship in his three years here.

But, he obviously has a ceiling, that has been apparent, even when he was on his record breaking away run or pulling out results against City etc. His style isn’t consistent, it isn’t sustainable and the effect of his game plan falls apart as soon as we move beyond using the first team players.

I was content following these forums in silence, but yesterday was humiliating to watch. Seeing the video of him smiling and signing autographs after the game didn’t sit well either. Not sure what I expect of him, certainly not Koeman treatment, but I would’ve expected a modicum of shame to appear so soon in public.

Just massively disappointed and frustrated. Cannot see an obvious end in sight any time soon. Just needed to vent.
I think this is the same feeling for me and I've supported Utd from Tommy Doc days so well used to the tough times in the 80s when we changed managers and bought unsuitable strikers ( mostly from Forest ! ) trying to find the magic formula. In those days matches against Liverpool were filled with over-optimistic thoughts with the reality we were going to get battered but how many times did we "game raise" and get the crowd behind us to win a fair number of matches ?

That yesterday was different - a vastly improved squad of player capable of mounting a decent challenge for the title but totally outplayed and more alarming totally out-coached. A humiliating home defeat against our fiercest rivals - total embarrassment !

It was so obvious Ole has reacted to criticism by asking his forwards to "try some pressing stuff" and it was amateurish watching us trying to pull it off and then watch our shocking defenders get pulled apart. Maguire has no right to be playing in the side right now and it's a joke he's still captain - blast from the past but if that was Kevin Moran with Luke Shaw in his way the ball would have gone in the stands with Shaw as well.

I want Ole gone now but I still think they will give him until the City match to show some response with at least 4 points from these matches and if we lose those 2 matches he will be gone and it gives us chance to talk to potential caretakers over the next 2 weeks for the rest of the season. Then we should go for a F/T manager in the summer.

Some big club we are, the board is full of pathetic morons. Until we accept the fact there will never be another Sir Alex Ferguson and stop looking for a manager to create a "dynasty" and one who knows the fecking "United Way", things will stay the same.

I never fully believed Solskjaer was going to be sacked even after one of the worst defeats in the club's history, however there was still a part of me that hoped the board would grow some balls and act quickly for once. Oh well, looking forward to more games under the current leadership

Credit in the bank?? For what? Losing a Europa league final and winning nothing? Our standards can't have fallen this low, surely.
Well if you cast your memory back a bit further than a couple of months ago, he actually did alright for a couple of seasons and the board will probably have half a mind on the fact he dug United out of a shit show post Mourinho and the fact we’re relevant again now is because of him, so there’s your credit.

Wether we agree or not that it’s the correct thing to do, he’ll still be here for the City and Arsenal games and we’ll have to suffer more of the same unfortunately.

I'm not surprised in the least that he's staying. Your club is run by clowns.
Feel the same way. If he was working for us, he’d have been fired about seven or six times by now. It’s so strange to see a club of this size, spending so much money and yet showing no signs of ambition at all.

Hhmmm interesting wording - I wonder if he really does have three games to save himself. I have always assumed he'd see the season out, but defeats to Spurs, Atalanta and City would put top 4 and progression from the CL group in danger. There's an international break after the City game, too, which would give them (the Board) two weeks to get someone in before Watford.

Red Card for Casemiro!
We put out the most expensive defense in Europe, and had Ronaldo, Rashford, Greenwood and Bruno in attack.

We could have had 2 more red cards, and the only reason Liverpool didn't inflict more than the 5 goal hammering at Old Trafford was because they stopped trying after Pogba's red. With more than half an hour to go.

How is Ole still in the job.

Literally the only reason I can think of. Maybe they don't want the new manager to face those games from the start.

But surely, going into those games without a coach wouldn't really be any different. Looks to me like they are giving him one more chance to come out of this with those games.
Possibly. In a way we need to consider the next manager very carefully. We know ole isn't up to it or move us to the next level. wanted him gone after the europa league final. So maybe taking a few weeks seems sensible. 2 weeks plus international break to go. Going to be more pain I'm afraid. We need to salvage something this season. Top 4 (ffs) and a run in the ucl. And positive results with positive performances for once.

Can't believe the incompetence of the board. Always making the same mistake when to cut loose with managers.
Too slow to react and destroy the season.

I don't think anyone can accuse you of wumming mate, it's an undeniable fact. Competent owners/board would have sacked him after the Europa League final.

It's because the bottom line (CL qualification) is all that matters and trophies are irrelevant. Woodward has even publicly admitted this. Heck so has Ole.

It's pretty bad but not as bad as Moyes - yet! The irony of West Ham nicking the last top 4 slot would be hard to take.......

They think because it worked once with Ferguson decades ago it will work again. It won't.
