I am hoping and I think it is the case that Ole is already sacked and is just serving as a placeholder until a new manager is appointed over the international break. To be fair, appointing a new manager now would be tough as his first two league fixtures would be Spurs away and city at home.

I think we'll see a couple of shocking performances over the next week or so, Ole will go, and Conte will be appointed over the break.
Not a chance, if that was the case it would be leaked already and we’d be even more of a laughing stock than we already are. Plus Ole is human and no one would do a job for free for a few weeks until they find your own replacement. Why would you do that?

I disagree. Ole is not stupid. He knows he's gone. And I think he loves the club enough to do that job until they get someone in.

I think so too. Anything else and this board is incompetent on a whole different level.

He's pretty much fecked either way: If he plays the same team he's slaughtered because they're clearly not playing for him and you cannot play the same team after getting embarrassed 5-0. If he changes his team and brings in the likes of Bailly, VDB, etc, it highlights that he was wrong all along and cannot be trusted to pick the correct team anyway.
Disagree. He should know he's gone, so if he puts the club ahead of if his ego, he makes the changes.

Not disagreeing mate - just think that fan perception will not be good no matter what he does. He should definitely make the changes, and I think he will, but I think that will only further undermine his team selections this season and his mistreatment of several players.

Dead man walking. Will be fired after City game. I think if Poch or Ten Hag were free and available Ole would be gone.

As much as I’d love for it to work out. Because I genuinely love Ole. He just doesn’t have the ability to instill a system to allow for a team no matter the selection to play well. I just wish she had the balls to make some big decisions outside of putting Pogba on the bench. What about Bruno or Cristiano. Why not try to bed in Donny? The infatuation with McFred is starting to be like the old infatuation with Felliani from previous managers…. Ugh

Conte could be fine but no way do I want a 3-5-2….

May as well just start posting any Tweet with an #MUFC hashtag if you're posting this. Things are bad enough without giving an additional platform to fraudsters and shit stirrers.

Scenes when it's the same XI against Spurs on Saturday.
Yup, guaranteed for it to happen. Maybe Sancho for Greenwood or something like that, at most.

Not planning to watch the Spurs match cause what’s the point. Watching Atalanta match in the hope that we don’t lose so that the new manager has a chance in UCL.

Against City I should not watch, but the masochist of me might want another trashing.

And then hopefully a new start begins.

Because if he wouldn’t do that, he wouldn’t get the severance package? You know, the thing that he wants now to get, otherwise would have resigned.

Exactly. Legendary goal not so much legendary player, he was a mainly a sub. If he is such a massive legend then York and Cole are even bigger ones. And what about poor Sheringham, doesn't get any legendary credit for the equalizer.
Ran out of arguments about the manager so you went over to trashing the playing career as well?

What a peculiar situation. He must convince the players to give everything for the club right now, and he'll be sincere about that, but they're all probably thinking "You just want us to save your arse."

I'd say that changing room is toxic and clique-y as feck right now.

not only that, if he picks some fringe players (like Lingard, VdB or Bailly) instead of regulars, and lose the game, he will also be blamed for it..

its really best if he had resigned right after the game

Can just imagine Ole asking the players what team they want to put out and what system to play against Spurs. We win and once again Ole is back at the wheel. Feckin disgraceful him being given a stay of execution.
If he does that he's going to lose the little respect and credibility he has left. If he's going to ask players how to do this job then there's no way for him to redeem himself.

The buck stops with him. Look at how he set up us to play. We do not have the capability to play a possession based game and dominate teams because we simply do not know how to.
The Leicester game and the Liverpool game was so similar. Are we a pressing team or we sit back and soak the pressure. We do not do anything.

I will actually believe Rashford quotes more than the likes of Maguire's. Rashford is a real Mancunian. This loss must have hurt him indeed.

Everytime I see Ole's face, I now think of Liverpool stopping their play after 50 minutes to spare us a whupping.

FFS. I can't deal with it. After 3 good-ish years, this will be the memory I have of his managerial career at United.

How is he still the manager when I, as a fan, can't even look at him?

feck. Barca probably about to take one of the few good available managers.

Hopefully we have already snapped one up in the background

The fanbase/club is in such a toxic place right now, fans turning on each other, fans turning on Ole, fans turning on the current sets of players and the class of 92. Numerous oppo fans mocking us.

Just a disappointing time for the club all around.

I’m looking forward to the weekend, and that’s not because I hope we lose, I want the team to play well and us to win a game of football. Just so we can try and forget the shit time we’re having right now. The fact we may not actually play well and win is another matter. I just want to forget the shite we’re in and watch the team that we all love to support for 90+minutes & hopefully win a league game for once.
