Huge talent but all in all he isn't bothered and we can't kid ourselves anymore. I don't want him to renew because I don't think he has it in him to turn up and give his all every game. I don't care if he turns up for France and wins them another 3 world cups. He simply doesn't put enough effort for us and I don't think it's about Ole or Jose. Just look at Ronaldo and Cavani and how they're true pros giving their all regardless to anything.

He's just not a Utd central midfielder, doesn’t matter who is in there beside him. This magic new DM isnt going to turn Pogba into a consistent, hard working, body on the line, keeps it simple when he has to, engaged, competitor/winner we need. Far too expensive for what he offers.
It is simply all true, even though sadly.

There’s one combination yet to try - Frogba. If that fails, he has to go.
Man we have tried so many combinations. It just doesnt work, not because of the combinations but because he is just not really that good. Certainly not 90 million pounds worth good. At this rate he is going down as our worst signing of all time.

Should’ve been sold in the summer, if he wanted to go he should’ve said rather than waste a year of his career playing like crap here. Absolutely dreadful performance, the sooner he’s gone the better, utter diva.

We should have sold him two summers ago when we could get something for him. Now better to just let him leave on a free and give VDB his minutes.

One of the worst performances iv ever seen from a so called elite player. How many times did he give the ball away in the first half then when the game got scrappy and mctominay was fighting to give us some possesion pogba dissapears completely.

Shouldn't be seen in the starting line up again.

It's best for both to part ways. His confidence is completely shot here and neither player or club suit each other at all.

Its always been the case. His teammates and the club have taken the blame for his lack of intensity and interest for far too long. At best It’s like playing with a man down in about half his games, at worst he’ll cost you games and goals. It’s just not good enough. Devastating attacking player on his day. More often are the days he’s sloppy, self indulgent and slow. He regularly goes missing in games we need him the most too and is self indulgent and ponderous when we need him keyed up.

Have defended him a lot but he owed us a performance tonight and was way off it. He’s not signing a contract either so why play him anymore. Move on, give the minutes to Van de Beek.

Good to know who you can rely on in a crisis.

At a time when so many other players have been underperforming, how on earth has Pogba managed to make it about him ?

I know this may sound controversial, but I've never seen Pogba as a world class player. My view of football and especially midfield may be a bit flawed towards certain type of players and Pogba simply doesn't fit in any of these roles.

He isn't creative enough to play as a 10. Surely he can produce certain moments of brilliance occasionally, but compared to Bruno for example, he's nowhere near close.

He is not a defensive midfielder, and I guess nobody needs explanation why.

But he's also not a classic central midfielder, in case you play defensive and offensive midfielder, my pick for third slot would never be Pogba type but someone who can dictate tempo. Pogba is actually really a luxury player who fits nowhere long term.

It's no wonder he's been influental in France and Juventus. It's either completely asymmetrical playing style which France prefers or something boring like Juventus under Allegri. In modern offensive football he's long-term unsustainable.

Can''t even be arsed with six months left on his contract and trying to find a new club in the summer.

Good footballer, but no heart or desire to play for the shirt anymore. Doesn’t track back quick enough. Just strolling and lumbering around.
Even Matic seemed more proactive and hungry for the ball then Pogba.

He’ll leave this summer and it won’t be a huge loss to be honest. Totally infuriating player to watch sometimes.

I can’t count how many times I’ve screamed at my TV because he’s lost the ball in a dangerous area and then jogged back towards goal or he’s nipped somebody’s ankles from behind in or around the box. He has an obsession with trying to hold players off but more often than not he has the ball nicked off him.

To put in a performance like that tonight after his red card against Liverpool is just indicative of his attitude.

I get the impression that he thinks he's better than United and we’re a stepping stone for him but he’s doing himself no favours, which is shown in how little interest he’s had from other clubs. To the point where he’s now having to run down his contract just to get a move.

I’d be more than happy to let him sit on the bench for the rest of the season and let someone like Van de Beek get an opportunity.

He looks done here. After such a promising start and looking like he was going to smash this season, January looks more likely than ever the end of his stint here.

Shame as I do believe some TLC and good structure will see him get regular, class performances out of him again

He’s clearly not arsed and never has been. When we booted out Mourinho we should have got rid of Pogba at the same time.

Dreadful tonight, and after being given a chance after his disgraceful showing against Liverpool. Utter dross.

Clearly can’t play in centre mid for us. Career with us is over after tonight as far as I am concerned

Also Pogba’s inability to play around a press is a massive weakness in the modern game, if he was playing in Serie A in the 1990s and pinging from deep it like Veron under no pressure that would be fine but when you compare to players like Verratti, Modric or Frenkie De Jong for that, he’s found desperately lacking.

Tonight Atalanta targeted him from the start it was obvious. Why? Because they’ve seen what happens to him in that situation before. He’s a liability for it.

If his name wasn't Paul Pogba and he was still starting regularly after the shit he's served up for 5 years this place would be going absolutely mental. The biggest myth to play the game. A talented guy with a few top performances a year in him, who doesn't understand basic football unless being carried by teammates

Apologies if this is a France national team joke, but he must've played alongside Fred a fair bit already, right? One game that sticks in my head was the draw against Wolves at Old Trafford where we went ahead with a rare goal from Fred, but then Pogba did his trademark of getting caught on the ball and costing us a goal.

I love Pogba but I stand by we would have been a far better team this season if we had shipped Pogba out and got in a proper midfielder. Even Ruben Neves would have a far bigger impact to their side than Pogba in that deeper role.

I’d agree if this place wasn’t so quick to hail the McFred combo after all they’ve contributed throughout the years.

He was terrible this evening but he isn’t an exception in this squad.

TLC? His teammates love him and Solskjaer has never done a Mourinho on him.

How much more TLC does he require?

I don't Pogba is here come next season but I thought the same last year and year before that. He's probably waiting to see what happens with the manager, if we don't replace Ole in next 2 months he'll able to negotiate with other clubs from January and probably agree a move to PSG/Juventus/Real. If we got Conte in, he'd stay I reckon. This way, slimmer chances of that happening. Either way, hopefully situation clarifies soon.

If we sold him we'd have money for another midfielder. Him leaving the club twice for free is something that only United could let happen
