I just can’t get it if this guy not sacked, how the board accepts this low? At any club and it doesn’t have to be big big club he would have gone. After this embarrassing performance what else they are waiting to see!

Should have been sacked during that bad spell towards the end of last season.
It was utter madness to give him the job permanently at all. By the end of the first season it was obvious that the crazy run we went on when he first got the job as caretaker was just the kind of bounce that lots of clubs see when they change manager - but by that time he'd been given the job permanently. What made ANYONE (let alone the board) think that he had the right credentials to manage the biggest club in the world? Then during the next season he led us on our worst run for 60 years, and STILL people thought he was the right man. There has been feck all progress on the pitch. The one thing you could maybe give him was that he'd improved the mood around the club since Mourinho (although let's remember that Mourinho's main gripes were based on the club not supporting him in selling Pogba and Martial - who are still causing the club problems now, and not being backed sufficiently in the transfer market...unlike Ole), but I'm not sure you can even say that about him now given Lingard's bro's post today, the reported spat with Eric Bailly, and how the like of VdB, Sancho and Martial probably feel about him.

It would be kind to all concerned including Ole if he was let go.
He looked lost.
Keane imo would be the best option until season end.
Then look at the names that have been mentioned straight away to endure we got someone solid.
Nothing says moving on from selecting under qualified managers who are only considered because of their player connection to the club like hiring Roy Keane.

Moyes survived back to back home defeats to City and Liverpool without scoring a goal. Only once CL was off the table was he sacked, but you could possibly say that this was because he was only 5 months into the job. Ole might not be so lucky, but it wouldn’t surprise me if the club let him continue. There’s precedent for it.

It's depressing. We're going nowhere with Ole at the helm. What more do the Board need to see? He's a great guy, a club legend as a player. But as a manager he will not get us any closer to City, Liverpool, Chelsea than we are currently. The last few games have been about damage limitation, Ole in self preservation mode, trying to keep his job. Its on the Board now. If they don't make a change, even if it's a caretaker, then I don't know what to think. There is nothing to be gained by keeping Ole in charge now.

I did mention until season end right?

Unless you know there are qualified managers who are ready to take over right now.
Zidane does not want the job by all accounts.
Conte is gone.

Ah well if Zidane and Conte are gone then I suppose the next logical step has to be Roy Keane.

If he survives this I give up. I can't be bothered watching us with him in charge, I already know what will happen every week. If he survives Old Trafford thrashings by our two biggest rivals he'll be here forever.

If he survives this we deserve mid table oblivion and bombing out of Europe. Write the season off we've got our DNA and our 7 at the back and we're proud to concede 3 goals every game.

No noise whatsoever on a sack. I am worried he is staying a bit longer yet

11 games in and we're as close to the relegation zone as we are to the top of the table in terms of points.

It's not only him that has to go btw. What Carrick is still doing here is beyond a joke as well. The whole coaching team needs to be replaced as soon as possible

We are in factually worse form then when Jose LVG and Moyes got sacked.

And Ole has the best squad with the most backing.

Bin him tomorrow morning please

Don’t seem to be any. Which surprises me as it seemed there were a fair few after the Liverpool loss
Media have been briefed to stfu about speculation. We’ll get another brief after this saying we had a decent run of form and want to give more time to see the squad gel. Fairly routine at this point.

I don’t think a 2-0 defeat against City will be considered that bad, when combined with the Spurs win and an away draw midweek. Think Ole has ridden out the storm.
Yeah, one win against a team who sacked their manager is enough sure. Ole should keep the good work.
That defeat is one of the worst game I witnessed from this club, it was just an admission that we are minnows, even worse then Liverpool to me.

Our form is worse than when any if our previous 3 managers got fired!!!

Are you genuinely surprised though, especially after how he survived the Liverpool debacle?

Same old message form the board - persevere and trust the process.

That’s another thing I’ve noticed over these past few incompetent years. The board don’t do anything on weekends.

What really bothered me today is that, we were setup for damage limitation and our plan was to not get humiliated.. what a sad season this becoming, our squad is more than good enough to be top of the league, yet here we are, playing like cowards, at home, after getting spanked by Liverpool not long ago.. way to go, this is the culture, and the United way Ole is promoting. Can’t wait for us to get a manager who can compete, I mean, as clueless as the board is, they surely will stumble across a decent one, until then, our rivals are West Ham, and Brighton.

Did he really build up so much credit for that win against Spurs? A jammy draw against Atalanta and another humiliating loss in a derby doesn't matter.

All that matters is he managed to beat one of the few managers in the league who is more negative than him.

I thought the slightest whimper after Liverpool would be it. He has been dizzy at Atalanta and KOed today, really thought this has to happen iminently now!
