Sure why not, anything is better than what we see now.Tweet

Granted it hasn't been great, but let's see how Dortmund fare this season without their injury problems. Why Marco Rose. Have you actually watched his team play?
What are you on about? Make a point, all you're doing is taking up space.“Everyone lost the league to Leicester”! Give me strength.
You sure? He makes what? €2 mill a year at Italy? He was our number one target this time last year. Means nothing you can’t get him now. Go get someone now.
To be honest if this is the type of managers the Glazers are looking for, better leave Solsjkær alone until the end of the season or until he hits rock bottom and feels it's time to go and takes Pogba with him, whatever comes first. Very depressive.https:// twitter.com/cfbayern/status/1457040408484192256
Im sure he’d take the job. I just don’t think he’d take it now.You sure? He makes what? €2 mill a year at Italy?
I don’t believe zidane speaks English.I don't understand this poll, Mancini is at the top of the world right now being the Champion of Europe and aiming at the World Cup, he is never going back to club football anytime soon until 2024.
I'm glad Conte is already hired by lads-it's-them, I don't like his football.
Erik ten Hag is not going to leave Dutch football for a League that is so above what he has dealt with so far.
As for these ones...
Graham Potter
Brendan Rodgers
Marco Rose
Christophe Galtier
Luis Enrique
Mauricio Pochettino
Come on, these folks are all mediocre managers with good press, they are not world class.
Ah yes, Pochettino reached a Champions League final. Yeah and Di Matteo won a Champions League.
Zidane is by far the best of all those. I'd rather compare him to Leonardo Jardim in this poll, but guess no one knows that this guy crushed PSG in 2017: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2016–17_Ligue_1#League_table
So, I'm really hoping for Zidane or, who knows, Jardim.
He isn’t getting sacked anytime soon. They will see how they do in the Champions League.I think that our board hopes for Pochettino to get sacked to get him as free agent. No other option seems realistic to me at this point.
Absolutely no chance he misses out on taking his country to the world cup as favourites, and we will need a new manager long before then.
Good postThinking about it a bit more after that training session against City, we've so far never really hired an attacking coach that sets sides up to score lots of goals.
Just a cursory examination of data shows coaches with the best xg diff per 90 (xG - xGA). Get rid of the usual unattainable suspects (Nagelsmann, Pep, Klopp, Flick, Poch etc.).
- Moyes can coach a good mid block press, build a physical side, not very well known for attacking setups.
- LvG had a clear vision for football but he's been left behind a little by the advent of vertical tiki-taka. His football was just slow, methodical, side to side (horizontal) without generating a lot of threat.
- The toxic one - If he didn't invent the term parking the bus, he was at least the poster boy for it.
- Ole is basically a slightly shit version of Jose tactically with better man management skills.
Made a table of the top 15 21/22 xgD and top 15 xgD 20/21, and Christophe Galtier figures prominently in both along with some names like Pioli at Milan, Rose at Dortmund / Gladbach, Allegri, Gasperini, Imanol at Sociedad.
Neither did Fergie and look what he's done,I don’t believe zidane speaks English.
Maybe yes, maybe no. Italy national team's coach is a prestigious one and the Italians love their national side. However the job is paid with a packet of crisps and a Netflix season subscription. To get the job Mancini had to take a £11.5m pay cut from his previous job. It was for feckin Zenit. Ole makes a 10m a year as opposed to Mancini whose around on 2m a year.
I know we have spoken about this in the past. But just dreading for the day where we can actually dominate against the big boys rather than just staying low and look for counter.Good post
Moyes was a reactive coach and so was LVG, Mourinho and Ole from the evidence at hand. We resorted to playing low block/mid block football on the counter. We've yet to hire a coach who implements a high line to good effect and one of those coaches is Erik ten Hag. I'm sick and tired of seeing us play in a reactive manner hence was against the appointment of Conte who is also a reactive coach against the big teams IMO.
I agree mate, I've been yearning for a coach like that for ages. Someone who looks to force the opposition into making mistakes rather than sit back and wait for them to make mistakes.I know we have spoken about this in the past. But just dreading for the day where we can actually dominate against the big boys rather than just staying low and look for counter.
Is that too much? Atleast at Home, don't we deserve a dominating game from the club?
You guys keep missing the point. Leak is just to contain the fan reaction after today. Everyone knows he isn't available until next November. They just want to tell that we want to change but no one is available now. So please wait.
Even better, at least those that should understand him will and those who don't will have to just work hard to get into his teams.I don’t believe zidane speaks English.
Not trying to start an argument as I'm no great shakes when it comes to tactics, but was LVG a reactive coach? I thought he was all about dominating possession and waiting for the opposition to make a mistake by getting out of position and then capitalising?Good post
