Still clapping him off later?
If I were him I wouldn't resign though, why would you when there's millions at stake and the board don't even have a plan to replace you anyway. This sits squarely on the shoulders of Ed and the Glazers. The guy is well out if his depth and has been for months. Anyone who knew even the slightest bit about either football or business strategy would have had a replacement lined up weeks ago at least. A fecking shambles.

This man is fecking club enemy. An enemy to the club he's turned himself into actually.

I've wanted him gone since last season but also didn't want the criticism to devolve into "he doesn't care about the club" sort of stuff.

But if he doesn't resign after this, it's fair game imo. Anyone who had any sort of love for the club and any sort of personal stanards would leave.

Seriously if there's any United fan who wants Ole to stay then please check yourself to the nearest mental institution.

No they were trying to avoid an outlay of 30 million pounds by gambling on Ole improving results enough to silence the harshest critics. It was a money move.
I don't buy that 30m figure in the slightest. If they have to sack him, it might cost a third of that. But they could squeeze him into a "mutual consent" but still a hefty payout, to "preserve" his legacy.

But we are so close he said. Maybe he meant to relegation.

Was always Ole out, it was blatantly obvious at least two years ago never bought into the hype or moments of individual brilliance.

He was always a lightweight who should have never been given the role on full-time basis.

If he doesn't get sacked after that there should be protests against the board.
There should have been protests yonks ago  he's never been good enough and everyone knew it bar those with their heads in the sand.

Should be, but what then? We don’t seem to have any plan to replace him.
I don't even think a plan matters at this point. Could make Ronaldo player-coach and it wouldn't be any worse than this. He has to go. That's the starting point for any kind of recovery.

Who gives two fecks about Ole at this point when the Glazer scum have sabotaged the season by having someone like Conte up for grabs yet let him go to spurs while letting Ole stay here when the players are playing to get him sacked.
This. Without a change in the power structure, it'll just keep being the same crap week in and week out. Won't matter which manager we get in.

Similarly to the new bounce that came with Oles arrival, its now time for a new manager to bring that. I dont think Ole is as shit as some make out but its clearly not working for him anymore

If this doesn't get him the sack, absolutely nothing will.

But then how many times have we thought that and they've been too spineless to act

100% sacked in the morning. I have no idea who can come in getting our players pull their head out of their ass. Shambles.

Same boat. Thought that maybe he is deluded. Now he is just looking for a payout, just like Jose. Fkng parasites.
