post match interview was a hard watch, near cried for him at the end of it. Hes begging to be sacked, going home for international week he was probably going for a reset and fresh attack at getting things back on track, then today the players all let him down massively.

Bruno and McT for the pen at the beginning, Maguire being sent off, Martial giving the ball away for the 3rd, Lindelof not making a challenge, De Gea beaten too easily as well.
Ronaldo should have had a hattrick, Donny was the only bright part of that game, more players with his heart and determination is whats needed.

Also why did Maguire and Ole high 5 after the sending off? Baffled me, it wasnt as if Maguire was being a hero and taking one for the team, he started the disaster with his slow ass play on the ball. Scores against Albania and Moldova and starts giving it the 'Big un' hes been a poors mans Phil Jones this season conceding goals for fun with his sub standard approach to defending.

Back on topic, hope the bleeding stops and they make the change ASAP and sack Ole, done fantastic work over the couple of years to stabilise the club but the time is right to finish him off.
Agree with all of that but thought Sancho also looked better than most.

Maybe Ole will take a page from the Woodward playbook…resign but somehow stay in the job for months afterwards.
Tbh even if he announced his resignation for the end of the season I think it would give us a slight lift.

Not that I’m endorsing it before anyone starts

It's probably taking a while to catch Joel up on how terrible we're playing...

I'm sad that it's come to this but it needs to happen. Ole is a good man and a club legend as a player and that will NEVER change in my opinion, just not been a good manager for such a big club.

Manager - Out of his depth
Coaching Staff - Who don't know how to coach tactics
Players - Who just don't give a damn
Board - Who only act when £££ is at risk
Owners - Who know nothing about football and use us as a cash cow.

Ole needs to go 100% but as I've said before, there is a lot more to this than just manager. Something is rotten at the core of Utd and has spread out to all branches of the team. I fear we will be looking for another new manager in a couple of years if the core issues are not addressed.
With the way he's treated some players, I don't think is accurate any longer.

The Irony here is that Donny playing really well is a bad look for Ole. He's been trucking away with two shams while DVB wasted on the bench.

That and the high five to Maguire - i'd have been spitting flames at him, but then again if I was the manager i'd have dropped him today.

Simon Stone: United board not happy with the recent string of games, but expresses confidence in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Bloody hell. That sound so plausible it's depressing

If Ole is sacked and they have to appoint a caretaker manager, would you rather have Carrick, Mckenna or Phelan take it ?

Ed: ‘So Joel, we’re 12 points off top after 12 games’

Joel: ‘That’s not too bad, it’s 6 points for a win & 2 points for ever goalscore isn’t it. Ole in.’

The only way the delay is justified is because they don't know who to put in charge. Cannot be one of the coaches.

The biggest problem on the pitch is the lack of defensive shape. In no way, shape or form is Brendan Rogers the right man to fix that.
No. We seriously need someone to kick these players and the owners arses. I’m so sick of the apathy. I really enjoy players like James Fred and Cavani because they might not be fashionable but they fecking compete. Maguire is like a lad on Prozac since the summer. Burn out, injury and probably their lowest moment losing the euros. The manager has absolutely bottled this and left players on almost leading PL wages on the bench. I said it last season that his lack of flexibility and imagination with selections and rotation will cost him his job and ultimately it has. He’s been like a rabbit in the headlights this season

I think he has a good contacts with agents, so his knowledge on player transfers tends to be reliable. For something like this he's generally not worth listening to, I agree.
But it’s the details that he has so quickly is suspicious. IF anything has been leaked by the club surely initially it’ll be local reporters then national journalists then foreign-based reporting.

The fact he’s straight in amid very early and unconfirmed reports that we’re even having a board meeting by claiming to know exactly which was various members will vote - I’m sorry I think that lacks credibility

At best it’s indistinguishable from the old ‘ITK’ tactic of inventing trivia associated with an existing story that can never be disproved but makes someone look as if they have the inside scoop.

The “I’ve confirmed several names are under consideration” claim to a report someone’s thinking of getting a dog. Adds nothing, can’t be disproved but it looks as if they’ve got the inside track

I'm imagining something akin to the Handforth Parish Council meeting.

You have no authority here Ed Woodward.

He accidentally posted a video tweet of himself saying Ole had been sacked after the Liverpool game, only to swiftly delete it and bizarrely threatened legal action for those who would re-share it. I'm not convinced he's that credible with matters such as this.

Not Carrick, he should follow Ole out the door with McKenna, Phelan and Fletcher in tow.
We should strictly limit these "legends" to low key stuff, coaching/managing the youth teams. That's still a highly respectable job, but you should have to have top credentials to get near the top boys.
