Clearly Ten Hag is the best option so that means we will go all out for Brendon Rodgers who will go onto be another unsuccessful manager for us.
hopefully lose some moreCould be writing off next season though waiting for them as we might not have CL football and will likely lose 4-5 players.
This would be my choice tooRalf Rangnick now, then Ten Haag next season.
Because we clearly haven’t sorted out another manager yet. It happens 99% of the time that someone within the coaching team takes charge for a game or two.Carrick was part of Solskjaer's coaching team who were absolutely terrible .
Why on earth would we appoint one of his staff? It's absolutely ridiculous .
Promote Rangnick to Director of Football in the summerRalf Rangnick now, then Ten Haag next season.
I doubt we'll get burned twice, although with United you never know.It doesn't matter, if said interim gets us into the top four, the Glazers will think he's the next Fergie and hand him one of the biggest contracts in the league for the next 3 years.
Still has a higher WR % than Ole did even though the wheels fell off. He started off red hot, and if we're going with ETH, would be a very good stop gap. Can use a 4-2-3-1 as well as a 3-4-3 with a narrow front 3.Didn’t he tank at Dortmund?
He isn't being appointed anything, he's literally just in charge until the interim starts working. Carrick isn't the interim, he's just a placeholder until the interim comes in.Carrick was part of Solskjaer's coaching team who were absolutely terrible .

You still need someone to take training tomorrow, even if that someone is now widely assumed to be incompetent - you'd expect any new manager to bring his key coaching personnel with him, at which point, this lot will depart. All coaches remain. Comical. Surely a new regime move them all on
I would doubt it. It's an atrociously run club. Ole could have been sacked after City and a new manager or interim would have had a little time to settle in.Because we clearly haven’t sorted out another manager yet. I highly doubt they’ve been sitting there for two weeks not trying to find someone.
Would he come anyway? He was poorly dealt with at the end of his time.I wouldn't be against Van Gaal, with all the young players we've got. But I'm sure no-one else will agree.
Unless the person they want has already said no chance until the end of the seasonI don't think so, I just don't think there is anybody they want available until the season ends.
Feck's sakeIf Rhodri gets it, Ryan tends to get it as well.
Give it Giggsy until he’s in prison.
And Jose’sCarrick was part of Ole's criminal operation
Yeah it's very much hypothetical, can't see it happening!Would he come anyway? He was poorly dealt with at the end of his time.
I think they were hoping he could pull out a few results until they found someone. Carrick running things is an absolute last resort isn’t it. We all know nothing is likely to change with him in charge, but it takes the heat off for a little while. It is an atrociously run club, but there’s just no way they have been sounding things out since the Liverpool game.I would doubt it. It's an atrociously run club. I hope this just means ‘for now’ or it’s curtains.
