I actually deleted my previous post since even other Suns fans were saying what you were saying was silly. I didn't want to pile on. I'll just leave it at that.

Actually, just as an aside, since you're mentioning Holiday. The last time Steph played against Jrue he dropped 41 on him.
He dropped 41 on him by running him through screens and taking advantage of Lopez's poor defending on the perimeter. Things could've maybe been different had Giannis played and been put at the 5 defensively like how the Bucks derailed Young in the ECSF.

Not just that, Mikal is better than Jrue at negotiating screens. Ayton is also a brilliant defender on the perimeter so switches won't be an option, Curry found that out the hard way. With Ayton and Bridges on the court Curry won't be tearing into the Sun's.

Seems like Brooklyn are open to trading Irving. CJ for Simmons stops being the most obvious deal in the league, it's now Kyrie for Simmons which actually solves two expensive problems at once.

Who in their right mind would trade anything for Kyrie Irving right now? He is the most unreliable assett in today's NBA, he might just retire if he gets traded to a team he doesn't approve of.

Simmons is pretty weird himself too right now though. Philly can’t play him, his trade value is unknown (aside from Morey who thinks he’s worth Lillard and five first rounders plus ten swaps). I do agree Kyrie is a bad asset but ability wise he’s a good fit for Sixers.

He said there's no chance of him retiring.

He's been problematic for a while but he's obviously an issue now and would present a headache for any team. I'm not sure who would trade for him either.

I guess you'll just have to see for yourself. It reminds me of when Lillard was getting clamped up by Holiday and people thought with each passing game that Dame time was around the corner.

No he wont, that was the second game in a row Mikal gave him fits, when will we accept it as a pattern?
And yet for their matchup last season, Steph shot 52.6% from the field and 44.4% from 3s when being guarded by Mikal. It's a regular season game, there's no need to read too much into their matchup.

Suns don't have Booker, so let's not go all Stephen A. Smith overboard irrational clickbait attitude.

Strong 1st quarter by GSW, as expected playing at home.

And the Warriors will have Klay if these 2 teams meet in the playoffs (which would be a WCF given these are the 2 best teams in the West by some margin).

I would stay away from the hot takes from the previous page - Steph got exposed ffs

I saw those hot takes!!! So bad.

Klay gives them even more depth, regardless of his rotation and minutes. Hope he can be healthy...he's a good guy, albeit a bit weird, but top 2 way player.

Good win tonight but expecting the Suns to win this one was a tough ask. On a back to back, missing their best scorer and also having a travel day. Definitely tough! I'll take the win but the Suns are a damn good team. As for Steph, another six 3 pointers. Only 28 more to to pass Ray Allen. Should be just in time for Xmas.

See you in the WCF (hopefully).

Interesting that both these teams are 7 games ahead of the 4th placed team already. That’s a huge gap over what is basically 1/4th of the season. In the east for example 5 games would cover the top 10

23 points 8 for 20 and benched when they made their run, not the time for a victory dance, need to wait a bit longer. btw he barely scored a point in the 2nd half.
I didnt watch the game but the notion that an all-time player can be exposed in a regular season is hilarious. He isnt some kid that faced a tough opposition for the first time.

Clearly you didn't, there's a reason why everyone isn't on my case. He started well but faded badly. He's gone 7-22, 4-21, 8-20 the last 3 times he's played them. That's a team that clearly knows how to deal with him.

Faded badly - ha! He lost interest you mean. He missed his last 3 shots because the Dubs were up by a boatload. Up to that point he'd shot close to 50% from the field and over 50% from 3.

I don't think you understand the significance of regular season games to some of these players, especially the veterans or more specifically the veterans who have seen it all, done it all, and won it all. They are an inconvenience. They get in the way of the games that really matter. For me and you (the fans), we can deliberate all we like. But the bottom line is for players like LeBron and Steph and one or two others, they don't give a damn about the regular season. It's just a means to an end.

Well even more so in a game where they were leading by more than 10 throughout the second half.

Steph exposed

Like I said, he just lost interest. Up by a ton - playing out time. Unless I'm mistaken, I don't think he even took a shot in the 4th quarter. Dished out 3-4 assists, took his ball and went home.

SC being "exposed" because his shooting percentage wasn't up to his insane standards is a weak joke/call out.

His team is 19-3!!! He went 6 of 11 from 3 last night and GSW bench throttled the Suns.

SC will get his, always, as great players do. But he's more focused on the wins and how his team plays as a whole. He sets the tone along with Draymond, the rest follow. And so far they are 19-3. Not bad! And Klay still to come and whenever Wiseman comes back.

Get a high seed, (number 1 if possible and it doesn't cost too much effort), send the occasional message, and then move on to the real games. It's a simple formula and it's the same every year.

The Dubs tried to deviate from that in 2016 by going for 73 wins and they ran out of gas when it mattered.

 What a sexy choke that was. I dislike the warriors as much as anybody but Steph is a regular season God. Gotta wait till the playoffs to have any talk of choking.

Nothing to do with choking. Steph was carrying an injury when the finals started. By the time they got to game 7 even Kevin Love was able to guard him. As a fan, it was like watching a car crash in slow motion. You knew the damage was coming but there was nothing you could do about it.

It's funny, but everybody seems to have this misconception that Steph doesn't perform in the finals. He's top 10 all-time points per game as far as finals are concerned. That's pretty damn good!

I like that the Warriors are so good again that the haters are back out in force. I had started believing that just like United the good days were over for the Dubs

I've tried to catch the Rockets when I could. They're a fun team to watch. On any particular night you never really know what you're going to get.
