If he gets to play great but with his performances for Villa and inability to stay in the team I'm as concerned about this one as I was when Andreas went to Lazio. Looked obvious he wouldnt play and then got 3 league starts. Seems a better idea to send him to Burnley, Newcastle or Norwich

Do any of those 3 teams want him?

If they dont and the 3rd placed serie A team do then its worrying for everyone concerned
Not really. Different teams have different needs. If I’m a relegation threatened team I would absolutely not want a young centre back that’s barely played in the last 18 months

Hopefully it’s the right choice for the player and his parent club. Hes barely played at Villa

So why would the team with the best defensive record in serie A want him if he's not good enough to be counted on for a relegation threatened side?

They might think he’s promising and are loaning him in with a view for the future. They may have more capacity to play a young centre back than the other teams you mention. They might simply just need a backup centre back. There’s loads of possible reasons and football isn’t black and white. Look a Chupo-Moting for example, wasn’t great for relegation threatened Stoke and is now a Ligue 1 and Bundesliga winner.
