As I have understood and have been saying, Chelsea's problems go far beyond the excuses of injuries and covid, there is a tactical problem in the team and in the relationship between players and coach, something for which Tuchel is not being a solution.

Lukaku is a big kid, Tuchel has a complicated personality, both things we already knew before they got here.

Yesterday Lukaku was one of the best on the field and spent much of the game cutting opponents' shots in defense.
Tuchel was sleeping for an hour before he realized that it was in the midfield that we were being sodimized.

The team plays so poorly that it hurts to watch a Chelsea game and has accumulated negative results for a long time now and he has no changes or solutions.

Honeymoon is over.

When someone describes Chelsea as having some of the most passionate fans in the world you know they don't have a clue.

Not sure what's worse. That, or describing the atmosphere at Stamford Bridge as next level
Well he was a New York Yankee, so he is going to go to a team that wins trophies.

All ribbing aside, Alex and Pulisic share some of the same sponsors.

The older chelsea fans are passionate tbf. The jonny come latelys dont care a shit, and have their favourites who they just wont criticise. But re. the Bridge, the atmosphere is utter wank for a big club in the prem. Too many toffs and tourists

Obviously the shed and Matthew harding ends sing, which i enjoy. Unless its the Willian song about Spurs buying his flight, i fecking hate that chant with a passion. It makes me cringe. Love Willian, but the chant is shit. And makes no sense when we are singing it against Soton for example.

It beggars belief that a self-professed Chelsea fan is doubting Tuchel.
The game against Brighton and getting outplayed have nothing to do with Tuchel rather the squad. The coach's hands were tied and he didn't want to gamble with any player yet until there is a need to do so. I am definitely sure if 2 changes haven't been forced on him by injury in the first half that he would have made changes quite quickly. Risking more injury is an option he doesn't want to take and that's why he waited a bit before bringing on Kante because if he had made the changes early Chelsea may have to play a longer period a man down. Also, he had the game against LFC in mind as well.

About your comment about the Honeymoon period for Tuchel, I would say we are best placed to go back on top if we keep him than if we sack him. Why because Pep and Klopp are coming to the end of their respective reign at their clubs and I can't think of any coach out there better than Tuchel.
If we sack him I see him ending up at either Man City/ Man United or Liverpool before the ink on the sack letter dry up without a doubt.

If you know any better coach am open to your suggestion.

Third point is that Tuchel is now getting to know the league better and i see him building a bigger squad for next season given outcome of this current season and plan better for injury. You now want him sacked so that he can take that experinece into his next Premiership job. Left to me i will give him a 6yr contract to reshape the club and squad.

Swiss Ramble thread on Chelsea financial results.

Pretty interesting thread. Finances taken a real hammering from Covid restrictions.

The other interesting thing is what is spending £24m on unspecified "legal fees" for..?

I want it. It is the only thing that is still available to the club that has not been done yet. Other than that, no big deal.

Looks like Chelsea are struggling to keep clean sheets. Just 2 in last 11 league games.

Hopefully, they fire Tuchel. Garbage of a manager Roman.

Then we can have him. Realistically, the man can coach and fecks off Lukaku without a second thought. He is a good guy in my book.

I thought both had contracts that expired this year?
Nope. Lyon have a buy option on Emerson which is why it's been hard to try and recall him. Michy signed another extension before he went out on loan. Drinkwater and Baba Rahman contract expire at the ed of the season.

Werner is so funny

There he got his answer

But that really shows that he is simply trying his best all the time, but us also aware that he isn't great at everything. Refreshing difference compared to some of the more self-entitled characters.

Werner when he hears his name being sung after missing 2 sitters

But yeah it's very endearing but not enough to want to keep him around after this season. I have a lot of time for him because he never gives up always keeps going, and actually contributes in other ways with his pace and work rate, but without the goals its hard to justify not trying to sell him in the summer.

Fans just want to see you try. Sheva wasn't great but he worked his socks off and I remember fans applauding him and he's still respected to this day.

yeah a past his best one, tuchel is top class.
Yah fr he is. Just pray our board acts smart for once. This is the first time I've seen where almost every Chelsea fan I know would rather keep Tuchel than any one single other Chelsea player.

We've played the best two sides in the league twice now and a decent Brighton side too. The rest of our big fixtures are at home now and the other sides all have more games to cram in, many against each other.

Form has been poor but without making excuses we have had a lot of injuries, covid and fixture congestion to contend with (We're really missing Chilwell and James and we had a period where we couldn't field Kova, Jorginho and Kante). My hope is we can focus on getting a comfortable top four spot, whilst we win a cup and the CWC.

Going into next season I'm not sold on any of our attackers, they've all had ample opportunity to shine, i'd look to shift a couple to make way for another incoming striker.

Points when donkey plays - 1.75 per game
Points when donkey doesn't play - 2.09

Tuchel's biggest challenge is managing him out of the team. They're not title contenders at the best of times but they will be scrapping for top 4 again if he plays too much.

Who is "donkey"? That could be a few players for us this season.
