Nonchalantly scoring the winner...
2 GWs ago I was 235k played my free hit last week and wildcard this week now 81k
So yes I am the biggest freaking clown this round.

I could have done Son to Bruno as an easy move, but no I wanted Ronaldo.

I also had Kane in my team and sold him for Ronaldo since Spurs was not going to double.

Then did not have enough money for Bruno so went for Mount.
Hang on… you’re DIFFERENT posters…!?

I removed Salah obviously and I thought long and hard about Bruno but eventually brought in Ronnie and Bernardo and took the 4pt hit to boot!
Oh....and I made Ronnie Captain and left Son as Vice..I am on a roll!

That's why he's only getting one??
I'm surprised as I thought they might count it as a shot on target, rather than missing a huge opportunity.
But seems they're more sophisticated than we thought.

Price is not an issue right now. Can compare him to everyone till at least 8m.

He just never ever gets that big haul.
Leeds had a massive wobble but they're starting to get better. If Bam ever recovers, Raphinha will be mint.

He's on pens, will always tick over as well because he's their best player.

Even up to 8m, there aren't too many better options.

I'm probably to get him as well but was just a bit disappointed at the low ceiling. For someone who has been the primary attacking force for them probably more than any other player is for any team, he has never once got a big one while so many players do it randomly.

His mate Harrison scored 20 points last gw which he will probably cover in the next 3 GWs.

Raphinha didn't have a single double digit haul in the season.
Yeah he's a weird one. I haven't had him all season but he constantly ticks over with points. Not captainable but you don't want to bench him either.

I do like the look of his run from now until mid April so I'll probably bring him in for Mount which gives me the funds to turn Bruno back into Salah as well.

Not captainable
Yep. Not that a 6.5m should be easily captainable but it's a bit weird. For example I can consider captaining someone like Maddison or Bowen but not him. Mainly because we also don't know which Leeds will turn up.

Anyway Newcastle at home with a possible double is a safe punt.

2.9m to add to this. What we doing? Roll the transfer to deal with Salah when he's back? Or something else? Do still have James in there injured and with a 2 week blank soon.
Caps the most likely lineup

DE GEA Foster
TAA CANCELO RUDIGER DALOT James
BOWEN JOTA MADDISON Trossard Brownhill
RONALDO (c) ANTONIO DENNIS

Dennis as captain is intriguing v Norwich, but the risk of the early kick off combined with Watford being pony, and surely wanting to captain your 12.5m attribute who is rested from his 70min sub, in a home game is probably too much to turn down.

I think you need to work out your route back to Salah. Assume it will be Ron & Trossard out ? In that case work out which strikers you'd be looking at for that 3rd slot and sell James this week to free up the extra funds accordingly (if needed). If Villa get the double in GW23/24 then go for one of them. Also loads of value in Wolves defenders with Ait Nouri, Coady and Kilman all options. You don't want to be carrying 2 Chelsea defenders through 3 blanks in 5.

Yep, the problem is because the doubles aren't yet known, and probably won't be pre tomorrow's deadline, it'd be a gamble.
Waiting this week out gives that extra security.

Although there only 16 weeks left with 5 chips to use. So probably closing in on wildcard time soon anyway.
Though need to time that with the BB the week after is the issue.

Dennis as captain is intriguing v Norwich,
Watford looked really bad vs Newcastle. Their attack has gone down, and they changed the formation to 3 up top with King in the middle and Dennis and Pedro playing off him.

On the plus side they didn't play in midweek and this is a massive game for them. He's their talisman.

I'll probably captain a City player but this one is a bit interesting.

Well we don't know the scheduling of the doubles but we know which teams have extra games.

Yeah wtf is up with this? I transfer out King for Dennis on a wildcard because Dennis was the more central player and now he's switched it again. I guess that's why they call him the tinkerman.

Thinking to captain Cancelo, although tempted with Antonio, especially a clean sheet for Man Utd is unlikely ...

Anyone who has Ronaldo captaining someone else?

Could do Trossard to Foden as the transfer, but he just has such a patchy record. Could 10 point it, could be benched, could be the 1 of the front 6 who doesn't score.

Alternatives, Grealish just doesn't look a good option, Bilva has fallen off a cliff, Mahrez away,m KDB/Sterling too expensive and Gundo even riskier.
Think it has to be Foden or no-one from that lot.

I wouldn't Captain a city attacker, just having one is enough. If pep trolls, is double the pain.

What are the best options for non-City/non-Pool/non-Chelsea defenders?
Wolves look strong but their fixtures aren't the best after this week.
Even without a DGW, Villa's fixtures look strong for the next 6 games. I'd suggest Cash or Digne.

What would you guys do with Rudiger in draft?

Keep or sell?

So in my draft team I got TAA and Cancelo already.

Is Mount > Raphinha such a no brainer I might as well do it now?

Bachman (DDG)
TAA Cancelo Cash (Cucurella) (Lowton)
Jota Bowen Bruno Foden Raphinha
Watkins Dennis (Maupay)
