This. Never got the argument that VAR would spoil celebrations. If its ruled a goal your team gets to celebrate twice, if its ruled not a goal the opposition gets to celebrate. The majority of players still seem to celebrate straight away anyway unless they have a feeling they were offside.

No. The right team winning after having put their entire lives and careers to get to that point is far more important than any instant emotional value for the spectators. They still get to celebrate a few seconds later. A team cannot come back from a loss due to a wrong result.
Which is an argument for improving replays and refereeing. Not removing the mechanism that gives you an opportunity to review potential errors and just continue with decisions made by the on field ref in a split second.
