Lads, would it be worth a -8 do you think to bring Doherty in for Mee or Kula in for Bowen. I'm free hitting in GW30 so it isn't to help field a team that week. I'm favouring the former as it would give Bowen time to be back for GW31 where he could still be worth having from.

Just don't want the risk of having to field all 3 of my shit strikers this week.

Edit: another option I'm looking at is bringing in Gordon from Everton (who has loads of games to be rescheduled) for Bowen. This would help facilitate the Son to Kula and Maupay to Kane move down the line

Any news on Bowen? If he’s not fit for 30 then I’ll just do a -4 now.

As far as I know he has an achilles injury, so it's an injury which needs to be treated carefully. Not sure he will be back for GW30..

Is this a TC Gameweek or will there be other good opportunities?

Salah will have another DGW down the road where he faces United. Arsenal have a better defence than us, possibly even Brighton. The other fixture in that DGW will most likely also be against a worse defence than ARS/BHA.

Sorry I’m spamming with questions this morning. Any Wolves defenders that aren’t Coady, Saiss, Boly nailed?

Need one under 4.7 million to facilitate Bowen to Son.

Do you need that defender this week? If not then I'd look at a Leicester defender. Possibly Thomas.

Yeah probably not actually. Good shout, I’ll focus on the fixtures in 30 to pick one.

Captain TAA, Robertson, Son or Kane? No Salah :nervous:

Currently on TAA but with VVD potentially missing that reduces their CS chances significantly.

Would it be worth the -8 to bring in Kane if I captained him? Got to make up some ground and just read that DDG is ill and he’s the main reason we haven’t been conceding as much as we should have recently.

Choosing to start Livra or Dennis feels like it’s better to go with 10 men

Thank you, appreciated.
Think I will just leave it at Salah C this GW.

Start Livra or Coady?
I’d probably go Livra. If they get a clean sheet he’s usually guaranteed bonus points, and has an attacking threat.

I can’t decide between Livra and Dennis. I always favour the attacker in this situation usually…but it’s Watford.

Robertson and Son in for Bowen and Cancelo.

Almost certainly free hitting next week as I don't think I have many players.

Like how we're all loading up on Spurs (me included) because they thrashed two of the worst teams in the league.

Just know Liverpool will cruise this one, but Brighton will score an 89th min goal to rob TAA of his haul.

They have a double and a game in 30 though, it’s more that than the previous games for me. I’d be delighted if they blanked today though.

It depends on the scenario.
Willy nilly tinkering taking hits is daft.

Using a hit to remove an injured played/ make a long term move / remove someone without a game for a doubler etc, all make more sense.
I think (well, I have seen), these last few weeks, how it can be beneficial to attack the DGW. I took a -12 twice to get a team with majority doubles and it pulled off in a big way in my mini league.

I have done the same this week and Liverpool have already wiped out the hits after one fixture with 17 potential fixtures left to play.

Obviously, in any other season, there wouldn’t be this many DGW, but it’s definitely been worth the gamble for me this time around.

Just thought it was strange to see decent success with so much negativity around taking hits.

I agree with you. This season is an outlier that can reward aggressive play. Obviously you've got to pick the right players but taking hits to attack dgw's has never been more viable.
