Good coaches implement a style which gets more out of the squad. No-one is expecting him to win titles straight away, he will assess which players suit his style and who he can improve, the ones who don't, will be replaced over time.

We need a clear out of any coaches that were there under Ole. Ralf and Ten Hags appointments may be similar enough to work together but why keep coaches that have consistantly shown they can't get our players to play.
I'm sure I remember reading all the coaches that have come in under Ralf won't be here after the season ends

That's being optimistic, the first will fall after two subpar performances or losses. Chances are a loss in preseason might bring some close to the edge

Most fans wont have even seen an Ajax match or followed his progress in any great detail - I'll be honest with you I haven't, so why is he the overwhelming choice - social media is your answer I'm afraid. I hope he does really well and he has my full support.
I wonder what you would've said if we hired Poch. If the club indeed went by a social media choice, they would've hired Poch or Enrique. Those 2 are far more popular choices. If you've followed posts on CAF you would see that ETH wasn't a fan favourite even back in February. He was an outside choice.
But if you had a look at all the arguments for and against ETH, you'd realise that ETH is the better choice for us? I do not understand how you came to the decision that ETH was the popular choice? Because those who have argued for ETH have actually done their research over the past few weeks.

It's not uneccessary negativity at all, its highlighting the stark reality of where United are as a club, you may wish not to accept that we are run by people that have very little clue on how to run a football club, but it's plain for me to see. The club needs an overhaul from top to bottom starting with the owners, and the people in charge.
If even half of those tweets are accurate.....maybe we've finally learnt our lesson?

Regarding the last tweet, I genuinely hope we've wrapped up some of our signings by the tour as well as binned the players on the way out, would be nice to actually have a full preseason with new players and a new manager for once.

Still doesn't make any sense. Poch was the social media favourite just a few months ago - and continue to be favourite among media and experts, yet he hasn't been hired. And United don't have a history of choosing the social media favourite anyway or we probably would have seen Arturo Vidal in a player-manager role.
When it comes to EtH, even those who don't regularly follow Ajax, have probably seen his Ajax team in CL and also can point to his reputation as a tactical astute attacking manager. Add to that his very impressive defensive record and the added spice of him working with Pep before and you can paint the picture of a progressive manager on the up and who is perfect for 2022 football rather than a hasbeen. Also reports of him demanding a lot of his players is music to United fans who have been witnessing a bunch of lazy players the last few years.

I think this is true, concerning Poch being the mainstream and social media favourite (although the latter has shifted recently).
If you go on niche forums, you’ll see a more diverse opinion, but if you trawl a wider net you’ll catch more big names and big accounts pushing for Poch since we appointed RR.
The fact we don’t seem to be leaning towards him tells me that the board aren’t just checking which way the wind is blowing and then selecting based on popularity.
I hope this isn't true but if it is as much as i love Fergie it's good we've made the decision to go for Ten Hag.

Fergie was the one who suggested we go for Moyes, so as legendary as he is, his track record for managerial appointments leaves a lot to be desired.
That is music to my ears. Hopefully ETH ships half of those imposters out of the club.
