I wonder if people would be saying the same things if he didn't represent Pogba. This vitriol is all a bit too much tbh.

Deepthroating information to Howard Nurse.
You mean from the pockets of massive multinational orgs into players?
Well I thought football clubs were community assets but hey-ho - you’re not looking at the big picture there are you? The more money pulled out from those “big corporations” the less money that can be shared across the whole game. But hey - if you think 600k a week and 75m agent fees is sustainable and has no impact lower down the chain in terms of wage and agent fee inflation then knock yourself out. I’m chuffed so much goes to a middleman. Rejoice.

I think he’s disliked partly for being so outspoken about his clients to the press. Which is obviously unsettling for their club/team-mates. And partly for being a big driver for the fairly recent trend of agents taking staggering sums of money out of the game at a time when so many clubs are in deep financial shit.
And while I get that, it’s not like he’s forcing anyone to deal with him. If he’s so bad for the clubs, they could easily stop doing business with him. But apparently his antics aren’t too much of a hinderance for those clubs and they still willingly deal with him.
I fail to sympathise with clubs who so willingly deal with him.
Maybe it’s the clubs fault for agreeing to pay all these outrages agent fees? He’s not holding a gun to their heads.

Wow. What a shit Palmeri is. He’s the same tier as IndyKaila. Will stoop as low as he needs to as long as he’s the “first” for a scoop. Seems the case with most so-called journalists these days.

Yeah and clubs could decide to never spend more than, say, 50 million, on any new signing but you know…

This may be the first time that all the internet thoughts and prayers actually helped.

Which leads us to the root cause of the issue here. Which is a lack of government regulation and taxation surrounding the sport (and basically every other business in general). Which has nothing to do with Raiola. He’s just benefitting from the same broken system thousands of other people benefit from. Like I said. He’s at worst a symptom of deeper issues. Not more.
