He deserves his own thread i think, has been simply world class and has a shout for being the best gk of this season of European football.

A master class by Maldini, I doubt many Milan fans would have thought he'd be this good after replacing donnarumma under those circumstances .

Definitely one to look for.(Sorry it's one of the annoying ones with music so just mute it if you're not into that kinda of thing)

One more thing to mention, he might be on course to won back to back league titles with lille and millan, not too bad.

Best keeper in Italy this season by far. Didn’t think he’d adapt so quickly, great shot stopping, distribution and control of his area. Be an upgrade on Dave imo.

Should've gotten him from Lille. No point blowing a big part of our limited budget on a keeper this summer.

That's some highlight reel. Can't say I remember watching him before but will make a note to catch a Milan game next chance I get.

Whoever does the scouting at clubs such as Lille, Dortmund & Leipzeg - Those are the people we need to focus on bringing in above all else. Some impressive finds there.

Another his important strength is using his feet to control the ball or pass to other teammates. He is pretty underrated in this department, he’s very comfortable on the ball.

Yes, he is the best gk in Italy right now.

you have NO idea how happy we are with him...

and in total, it's about 80M saved by going w him over donnarumma in wages (and that includes the transfer fee of the 14M we paid for maignan)

I feel more comfortable with him than last season Donnarumma.

I don't think Deschamps actually watches any of their players for their clubs. I'm pretty sure he still picks Martial now and then ffs. :lol:

We were linked a year or two ago. Quite the modern keeper, and has gotten better from what I’ve seen this term, I wasn’t as impressed back when we were linked.

We've left it too late to sign this guy, he'd cost a fortune now. Should have taken a punt on him a year or two ago.

Ok so I was looking for thisThis save won them the game(or kept them depending on how you phrase it) today.

One thing I want to point out is that he probably inflated his height, doesn't look 6'3 to be honest.

People asked about his distribution and i answered, not my fault i'm too smart for you lot :D

He seriously has the on ball impact of a top serie A midfielder. Saying he's good doesn't begin to describe it. Milan's plan in the second half today was to use him as a deep lying playmaker...and he was the best midfielder on the pitch :D

Theo Hernandez was not included in their Euro squad. It might have been a mistake but Deschamps fixed it after the Euros and Theo helped them win the Nations’ league.

Maignan will probably end up taking Lloris’ place at some point.
