Would've been interesting if they'd played Newcastle on the Saturday as loads of tired legs out there but they should have enough recovery given it's a Sunday half 4 kick off.

They didn't do so when they gone out to spurs, but it wasn't as heavy on them.

Back on track on at the weekend. Routine home victory vs. Newcastle.

After that CL exit will be old news.

Calm down.

I fecking hope not. Liverpool can have another CL if they want but I can't stomach them winning no.20.

Stevie G will be relishing the chance to do two massive favours for Pool by lying down for them and getting a result against City on the final day.

Only thing left for them now. 4 games 4 wins and they win the title. A lot depends on that Newcastle game. Wolves are in dire form and West Ham have put everything into the Europa League.

City also at home on the last day to Villa

This has to spur City on to win the title even more, they won't want to go trophyless this season

Thing is, they're used to fecking up the CL. I don't think they let it rock them.

As good as they are they’re always capable of the odd game where they create a load of chances but fail to score. They’re not as ruthless as pool and are more likely to drop a couple points than them imo.

Dias finished with an injured groin. They’ll be knackered and head-wrecked going into a tricky fixture. Feck’s sake.
If it was away I'd be more worried.
Still, they need to get back on it.
De bruyne being fit is key

The lack of a striker is an issue.

Watching them chasing the equaliser tonight, I would have had an easier time believing they'd do it with Aguero or someone of that ilk lurking up front. As it was they looked toothless and belief-less.

Everytime I see these headers I know they are 100% jinxes/anti-jinxes

I was thinking when they were 1-0 up that at least they’ll continue to have momentum for the title but now I don’t think so

Nonchalantly scoring the winner...
I’ve thought for a long while that City will lose the PL…

I just don’t trust them to win 4 games in a row - they’re prone to these weird slip ups.

Whereas Klopp’s Dope Show won’t slow down.

Good thing Pep rested KDB, Mahrez and Jesus for the Newcastle game, eh?

Pep's retiring for another sabbatical in New York if that happens.

The manner in which they exited the CL will be crushing mentally. They will be feeling sorry for themselves and quite frankly I don’t trust them to hold Liverpool off who are akin to rabid dogs.

Guaranteed. Congratulations to Liverpool on their first (of many) quadruples.

City in CL and league are different, one competition they struggle with(relatively speaking), the other one they hold with an iron fist, they "always" go on winning runs in the league when they have to, don't think they drop any points, but it is possible.

I don’t see City slipping on the title. While they don’t have the mentality for the champions league, in the league they are a different beast and Pep will get them up for these games. I think Liverpool are more likely to slip up in one of their remaining games.

Have been saying it for weeks that i don't trust this Man City side to win their remaining games and tonights setback will be tough to recover from.

No easy game left for them. Newcastle will give a better account of themselves than they did against Liverpool. Wolves, West Ham at home are well capable of earning a result and Villa managed by Stevie would love nothing better than help Liverpool winning the league.

Genuinely think they will. They've already thrown away an 8 point. This loss will be devastating for them and their season has lost all momentum in recent weeks (loss in fa cup too)

Eddie Howe and Newcastle's current players will want to prove to their owners that they deserve to be there next season. City are a big enough name to get them noticed. I'd be surprised if Newcastle don't eke out a draw, especially since City is at such a low point in their season.
