You’re being a bit harsh on the ref lads tbh. Whatever about his performance, the fat comments are uncalled for tbf. Let’s the place down.
Yup. Doesn't make the caf look fit for purpose.

A bit like Moss.

It takes some doing but when BBC sport Live text questions the refs decisions and questionable bias, you have to ask what the motivation behind giving him the game is?

This. People need to separate looks from performences.
yep. he’ll also lose a lot of his onlyfans subscribers if he loses weight. no one that is currently paying for content from “the_model_state_moss” is going to be keen to receive videos or pictures from anything other than a state of a man.

If you can't berate an old, fat, and incompetent ref in a game in which his lack of ability and professionalism is benefiting Liverpool (who are chasing a quad) when the feck can you?!

Might have been Phil Dowd?
Oh yeah I was thinking of him. Never mind though it was Wiley.

I think it’s blatantly obvious we’re not going to win the league from here. City have too much of a lead in GD and will wrap it up.

It's funny. I only ever see podgy and fat referees in the PL. The ones I see in Europe are either athletic or wiry.

I mean, is there a Jon Moss or Wiley equivalent in Europe?

Can we please refrain from using the F word about this referee? We're better than that. It's already bad enough that it's used in abundance in the James Corden thread despite him being a top bloke. Put yourself in the shoes of Jon Moss FFS.

You will put away a chance or two in the second half and then it all depends on our two away games. Wolves tomorrow is a very difficult prospect when you need the win, and then also having to go away to West Ham a couple of days later.

Two can play the pessimist game ;)

Being overweight would be a legitimate criticism if he was inept in both directions but it doesn't explain him giving all the decisions to Liverpool and against Villa.

Can we say "obese"? Massively overweight? Plump?

Nah I refuse to ever conform to this level of PC bullshit. Refusing to use the word fat doesn't suddenly make a person skinny, they will still be fat. Call a spade a spade

If that was Mane through there, he'd have taken Martinez' head off.
