Many things can tip the odds in your favor, one of them could have been whatever voodoo they did or didn't do but overblowing it is nutsBased on my thorough analysis of the facts (no fortune telling) I am certain they are not winning EPL and I say it is 80% odds that with current injuries they are not winning UCL

They'll win two. City will win the league from here and Madrid will win the Champions League. They've got the luxury of resting their best players and Liverpool are running on fumes.

There's no love for City here, but I don't think anyone but Liverpool fans want the Scousers to win the quadruple as the noise would be unbearable. Plus, we have a league title record to protect.

Principles get chucked out of the window far too easily when it comes to the exploits of Liverpool. They were in the wilderness for the best part of 30 years. Yet, the majority of Utd fans are still praying to their Gods that City, a club backed exclusively by a corrupt, human rights ignoring regime, win everything instead.
Tbh most managers do this now. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Case in point, Big Sam and Wenger.

Half of the job in a penalty shootout is to prevent the other team from scoring and Liverpool did terribly at this over two shootouts. Hard to take this narrative seriously.

It’s a weird situation. If City win today, title is done and Klopp will rest all his players until the CL final in 2 weeks.
If City drop points, then Klopp will field strong teams in the last 2 league games, which will make them more vulnerable for the CL final.
So the ideal scenario would be City to draw today, then beat Villa on the last day. That way it keeps Klopp playing his strong team upto the last day game.
Or maybe City just get the job done today, so we can all relax and enjoy the last day of the season without this nightmare scenario of them wining this Quadruple!

In any case, the effect of this company may well be just placebo. But I admire them doing extra things like this and the throw in coach that could possibly boost the players mentally just that little bit when it really matters.
Plus over time, it'll become a self-fulfilling cycle. They and the media will repeatedly glorify a few select victorious shootouts and important goals that came from throw ins and there you have the story , "Liverpool are at the cutting edge of football, statistics, astrophysics and whatever".
I saw comments from some Liverpool fans (though surely they’re part of a very small minority), who want Klopp and the team to go all out in the final 2 league games, even if City win today.

As a Liverpool fan watching utd win what felt like everything under Fergie it was mighty painful believe me but I admired what you were doing so much , I don’t have an ounce of respect for anything city do because of how they have cooked the books so to speak

It's an horrific situation as a football fan, reality is the money invested into City over the last ten years has been insane, unacceptable in my opinion. Football is about being competitive, being fair, each club spending what they've earned in the hope their manager can spring on a team capable of great things.
Think of Forest, Leicester, Everton in the 80's.
City have ripped up the rule book in my opinion, they can afford to buyer a player for 100 million and not actually worry about whether he will be a success as they can just replace him without a single worry about sell on value or the balance books. That for me isn't a fair field.
Liverpool and Klopp have actually given the City owners something to hide behind, without them the whole league would be hating City and their money. Liverpool have done things the correct way, they sold well and invested brilliantly and as much as I dislike him they have the best manager on the planet by far in my opinion.
All that being said I've hated Liverpool all my life, I'd still want the money of City to win it every time over them.

Nah City are just going to hammer them today and Villa next week. They are in a different class at the moment where everything is coming off. If Grealish kicks on next year and with Haaland coming in I would say its the easiest bet next year for City to win 2 or more trophies.

Absolutely enormous game today. The league is really for me the biggest one. It can either give them the quadruple or keep it at the CL and two others (not really the treble). If City lose today then there's every chance of it happening. Need City bagging a point today.
