Really good player.

I have trouble seeing West Ham selling both him and Rice in the same window. Rice is contracted only until 2024 whereas Bowen is signed to 2025 so it'll be the former who likely goes this summer.

Bowen is the player that proved to me that we have no scouting ability.

We went for James at the same time as Bowen was available and it was obvious who the better player was.

That was whilst we needed a RW.

he always gives United some trouble. not sure how he would do here with how much of the play is focused on the left side of attack. given the current trend of ignoring the right wing I would put money on him playing more on the left if we ever did sign him.

14th goal of the season tonight, on one hell of a hot streak in front of goal

The type of player Klopp/Pool sign for about 45million and goes on to become a world beater for them.

He was basically gifted a goal. West ham were shite tonight.
Considering they played one half with 10 men I think we can cut them some slack for being ‘shite’

They more then matched them in the first half and it was pretty even before the red card.

Seems like a player that leaves for our rivals at a price of 50 mil but 85mil for us.

I hate the - we are the biggest club thing we do to show our richness - because it has its consequences.

First half they barely touched the ball, felt like they only defended most of it.

We could do worse than him for an option on the right. His work-rate and tenacity is unreal.

We were strongly linked with him last summer, which I didn't get as I thought he was nowhere near our level and I really didn't want a jarrod in the team.

Guess I was wrong about the first part.

If West Ham are looking for £120m plus for Rice then they'll probably be looking for £80-£90m for Bowen so a bit of a no go. Excellent player though. We really need to be scouting the Championship a bit more effectively.

Yeah I like him too from the couple of games I've seen. But I don't think he is good enough for United's ambitions though.

With the effort he puts in alone he’d be better than most of our players. Decent goal contributions too so I could see him being a squad player for us.

100%. As an example, there's another at Hull called Keane Lewis-Potter (21) who has 11 goals in the Championship this year, after 13 in L1 the season before. Not saying he specifically is Utd-quality but merely an example of a young, effective Championship player making great strides. I imagine KLP will end up in a mid-tier side like Palace or something but there are plenty of other similar-ilk players worth a deeper look at (Alex Scott and Antoine Semenyo at the dipper Bristol club, Carvalho at Fulham who looks en route to Liverpool, Brennan Johnson at Forest, Blackburn's Dolan and the list goes on)...

Moyes unearths a gem every now and then. Bowen is another.

We could do a lot worse than signing him as our RW. Proper modern wide attacker, constantly runs in behind and sniffs out goals.

I remember how people here used to make fun of those who suggested we should go for this guy.
I think United should still bid for him. The kind of left footed right winger we need.

After what he has done today I wonder if Liverpool have an extra reason to maybe replace Salah with Bowen.
