I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again: this liverpool team is the luckiest team in the history of sports. Not just football. I mean all of sports. Its absurd.
Then they're luck will run out at some point then.

Gerrard to throw the game on Thursday and play a full strength side on Sunday it is.

Liverpool have now played 61 games of the 2021/22 season. 21 players have played 20+ games.
Impressive use of our squad by Klopp. I don't think I've seen a Liverpool manager get so much out of an entire squad like Klopp does. Minamino hasn't kicked a ball for us in weeks and yet he scored tonight.

I don't see how we were lucky tonight. Completely dominated most of the game and Southampton hardly had a sniff.

What, like a Ward-Prowse overhead super flying triple summersault volley equalizer in the 92nd minute?

Now you're just being silly.
flying triple summesault would have been better than aguerooo moment
As Neville said. All it takes is a penalty or Villa camping in their box or deflection or anything and it's over for City
Gary? Oh dear, you listen to Gary .. Don't do that to yourself.

You weren’t lucky in terms of deserving the win, but you don’t see how the second goal was lucky? You guys have scored crap goal over crap goal over the last 3 years haha.

City are so gonna lose 6-0 and Liverpool win 10-0 or something :nervous:
A Liverpool 1-0 win against Wolves and Villa to draw against City who are without three first choice defenders is all that's required for Klopps men to land this title.

I'm sensing a new "Aguero" moment coming. Villa will give 200% of their abilities against City before City winning it in dying moments.

I think City will score a couple in the first 30 minutes and kill it.

That game plan from Southampton was truly pathetic. Camped in their own half 2-1 down. Hope they get relegated next season. Hasenhuttl is an awful manager.
Terrifyingly some people actually wanted him as United manager

Why is everyone adamant on getting rid of all of us? I haven't seen anyone calling for city/chelsea fans get the axe when they win the league so why just us?

I mean I haven't been a member for long (lurked for like 6 years tho) but there are liverpool fans that have been members here for literally more than decades and from what I see seem to be respectful and reasonable in their comments.

EDIT: Punctuation

The ones who have been here longest are the worst ones. There are genuine good Liverpool posters and here and some really good ones were swept up in the last cull but longevity doesn’t mean that they’re good posters.

Weird behaviour to be posting on here anyway. I’m happy for them all to stay.

Utterly pathetic from Southampton tonight.
I don't think anyone expected them to take points of Liverpool even with a weaker team. They are legit lucky they are not in a relegation battle this year. Ironically enough City failed to beat these lot both home and away this year and lost 4 points there. Just a win against them and they'd have won the title already.

The pressure will get to city and they will completely bottle it. My prediction is they’ll be losing and might nick a 1-1. City are not winning this title.

It's not that it's 1st time they're fighting it out till the last day and they didn't face this kind of pressure. I'd be very surprised if they won't be 2 or 3-0 up at half time on Sunday.

City's brand of football means they will create so many clear cut chances that they will score more than once.

If Villa are ultra resolute they will hold on to a 0-0 by half time, but concede 2 by 60 minutes through tiredness. But the more likely scenario is they will be 2-0 down by 20 minutes.

This game is made for Foden and Jesus. Obviously led by KdB. Still, it was a grand run to a quadruple.

And City couldn’t beat them home or away. How the feck did that happen!
They tend to be one extreme or the other against the top teams. Either ridiculously tough to face (they pressed Spurs all the way to Australia when they played them in February) or an easy roll over.

Likely because us and Chelsea have no fans.
