Poor results have meant that negativity has seeped into the dressing room and there are divisions and suspicions. An investigation into leaks from the dressing room was carried out and concluded, with the club satisfied that it will be less of an issue next season.

Well, if they assume less of an issue it's either one of a handful of players, one of whom would be most peoples cheif suspect anyway. Or they got to bottom of it and words have been spoken. I am going with the former.

= it's Lingard and he'll be gone anyway next season thankfully.

Go the Tyrion route and tell different people fake signings, and when it gets leaked we know exactly who it is.

I feel like it’s so obviously Lingard but at the same time I can’t remember if they were happening or not while he was at West Ham.

Yeah no surprise that it won't be an issue next season with the culprits contract expiring

Think they were. We have been a non stop leak factory since Moyes days it feels like sometimes.

Lingard and Henderson are the two players I've seen most rumoured to be behind the leaks and it appears neither will be here next season so it should hopefully automatically ease up.

Ralf Rangnick has failed as interim manager and the idea that he has overseen other decisions at the club in relation to staff or player departures is inaccurate. He had almost no say in the appointment of Ten Hag,
Made for an interesting reading.

He also mentions Jones is leaving like it's a done deal, but afaik his contract doesn't end this summer, unless the club is planning to release him.

Also, for everyone claiming RR kickstarted the staff changes and refusing to credit Murtough for any of it...

He knows a lot more than he is able to say. If he says too much then he stands to ruin relationships he's spent years building with people.

That's good journalism and none of what he's said there will be based on guesswork I can promise you that.

He’s clearly got good sources for United from current players or staff, as well as old ones. We know he’s friendly with Evra, Vidic, Neville to name a few.

Mitten, Crafton, Whitwell, Anka are well reputable Athletic sources for Manchester United. Some are more likeable / opinionated than others but they all get good information and often sit in on press conferences etc.

Luckhurst is also in the credible bracket, but he works for MEN.

Luckhurst probably spends 95% of his working hours to monitor RedCafe and base his articles and tweets on contents here.

Its not exactly the worlds biggest secret.

We've had line ups leaked for ages. News from inside the dressing room about training, unhappy players etc.

Scholes even gave it away that Lingard was talking about how unhappy everybody was.

I'm not sure it was Lingard alone, but he's definitely a blabber mouth.

I really cant be arsed to trawl through the news he's broken but he's a credible source. Even though he's too opinionated.

Maybe that’s why they were so slow on the roof.

Yeah he doesnt actually say anything in this article.
You can kind of guess that anyway, because its not behind a paywall. If it was anything interesting he'd deliver it on behalf of Athletic.

Not saying it was Lingard (it was) but being on loan for 6 months wouldn't have stopped him. He was probably still on the players Whatsapp group and on the phone to several of them every day. So he'd have been kept up to date with all the inside info.

If they know the leak and if it's lingard who is leaving, why not just call them out publicly? It sends a message to the rest of them to keep their mouths shut

Not worth the potential legal issues of accusing someone I'm guessing. I mean they've told us it's Lingard through their actions really.

Didn’t Scholes literally mention him by name saying the team was unhappy? I mean, it can’t get more clearer than that surely.

Recall him being referred to as Lurkhurst on another well known United forum a number of years ago on account of the fact that little titbits from there habitually ended up in his articles shortly after being posted.

That's very different from leaking info to press. Players know other players and ex players. They talk about stuff, like what's happening around. It's different from leaking info to press.

It would be unrealistic to assume there are players who don't share dressing room things with their friends or family.

Lingard told Scholes, presumably in confidence, that "the dressing room is a mess right now". He said that after the Liverpool game at Anfield where got battered 4-0. Would you expect the dressing room to be anything other than in a mess after that?

Scholes is the leaker in that scenario, not Lingard.

I've always felt Lingard and Shaw would be the main culprits.

Might be coincidence, but it always ramps up when Shaw isn't playing/injured.
